Bayan Mongolian Resort - Genghis Khan Statue recensioner

5/5 stay. We arranged a pick up from downtown UB which included sightseeing on the way. This took about 4.5 hours. I booked a ger for 2 nights. The experience was magical. Even though it dropped to -3 during the night, it was very warm. Breakfast was usually eggs / bread / bacon. Good coffee. Showers/ loos were situated a 3 mins walk from ger. We arranged a 3 1/2 hour horse trek through the hotel. I would recommend this as it’s a great way to see the area. The horse were very well behaved taking us through rivers and overland. On our final day the hotel arranged to visit a local nomad and watch him bring his cattle in. Also throughly recommend. We ate dinner at the restaurant each night. Food ample and yummy. They were happy to cook non meat options for me that weren’t on the menu. All in all this was a great a experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would love to come in the spring!
