Phoenix Wenli Homestay is a quadrangle-style building. It is located in the Shawan community on the bank of the Tuojiang River in the ancient city of Phoenix. It is close to the ten thousand towers where tourists visit, and it is only half a minute's walk from the Tuojiang River. ( It is a high-end homestay with a large parking lot, free pick-up and drop-off of tourists, free parking, and the car housekeeper can provide "one-on-one" travel services. It is a homestay with good service, excellent quality and beautiful scenery in our county. The design of the homestay is elegant and beautiful, quiet in the middle of the noise, and provides a good living environment for tourists and business people.

We booked 3 rooms for our family for a night stay. The owner and staffs were very friendly, helpful and generous. The owner upgraded our rooms and gave us complimentary breakfast even though it was not included in our purchase. The rooms and overall place is very clean.Nice view on the open top floor where breakfast is served. Location is very convenient and almost next to the entrance of the ancient town. I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to visitors who want to visit Fenghuang Ancient Town.

Best staying solution quality-price ratio. The personnel is super polite and they offer a super efficient free taxi service from and to the railway station. The hotel is on the city centre. 5 star room for 10 dollars per person!

Hotel is close to ancient town just 1 minute walk.
There is free train station pick up and drop off.
Breakfast is typical chinese food. The foreigner may not get used to.

Great service from hotel staff. They provided complimentary pick up and drop off from train station and helped me carrying my luggage. They even gave us a local snack upon our checkout. Location of the hotel is good, not on the riverside but only few steps away from the river. Room is clean. Breakfast is a la carte and a bit hard to order as they only have Chinese menu.

The place is inside the alley which is near the busiest spots. It is not very accessible but the hotel doest provide transport to ferry customers from train station. There is no lift, and the laundry and breakfast / supper are all at the top most 4th floor. Staff are polite and helpful.

Big room with sink separated from shower. Free pickup to/fro the train station and a free scenic train ride. There was a dress up store directly in the hotel lobby which was convenient.

This inn was well located in the heart of the old town with shops, cafes and restaurants in close proximity, yet ideally away from the noise and the bustle so that one can sleep very soundly. It has a lovely roof terrace which offers a panoramic view of the river. A late night snack was offered and the kind owner even gave us a bottle of local candy. He also arranged for our transport to the rail station without charge. Because my partner has trouble climbing stairs, the considerate owner arranged for us to have a room on a lower floor. All in all, a very pleasant stay and i would definitely book this inn again.
