ECO Hostel recensioner

Location wise is excellent, in central and close to a bus station. Private bathroom for each room is a plus instead of one centralized bathroom for all. There is also a common space downstairs. Staff are gorgeous. A cafe is also downstairs if anyone fancy a breakfast or dinner. The hostel is also a host of many activities.

Good location and price. Activities organised by the hostel everyday, making it a good way meet other travellers.

A wonderful hostel with a friendly atmosphere. We stayed in a family room with teenagers (17 & 13). Facilities were clean and comfortable - good showers, air-conditioning etc. Family dinners each night were very popular and good quality - worth booking in advance if you are eating in. Staff were warm, helpful and clearly cared about the hostel. Great artwork and a variety of small rooms to hide away in to relax. Would return.

Eco Hostel is a bit expensive as compared to other hostels in Granada but I chose this hostel due to the availability fo the reception and luggage storage. And it is quite near the city center. I arrived very early in Granda because I took the 5.5hr bus ride from Madrid. They let me leave the luggage so I can roam around the city prior to checkin. Jake in particular was very helpful as he have stayed long in Granada already. He recommends places to eat and how to get ticket to Alhambra. The bed is just okay. The toilet and bath is common for each floor. The common area/kitchen is accessible to all. The kitchen has a terrace/balcony which gives a view of the Albayzin. Very nice 😁 When I checked out, they also allowed me to leave the luggage as I will be departing via night bus. I was able to go to other places and eat before leaving Granada. The volunteers of this hostel are also fun to be with. They also have a lot of activities and free sangria and family dinner. So it is worth the money to pay for this hostel. Note that I just did not like the walking tour as the volunteer that time did not say much to us. Walking tour is better to be done by a local person in Granada.

Este lugar es un desastre!!! El propietario es una persona deshonesta y desagradable! Solo le interesa que ingrese dinero, y sin importarle brindar un buen servicio al huésped. En cambio de proteger y cuidar a sus clientes los maltrata, y les hace desaparecer sus pertenencias ! Un día llegue a mi habitación y la chica que limpia abrió mi caja fuerte y saco mi pc, la puso en una caja con el resto de mis objetos personales y las dejó expuestas fuera de mi habitación, no sé con qué intenciones. En efecto, me desapareció un objeto personal de quien nadie se hace cargo! Cuando Informé de esta insólita situación a la responsable llamada Claudia, intentando buscar un apoyo, hizo caso omiso de mi queja, y comenzó a hablar a los gritos, propio de quien no sabe expresarse con educación y respeto, porque se nota que es poco formada e inexperta, y trabaja bajo el aval y las órdenes de un propietario sin criterio coherente. La persona que limpia es la que dispone de los objetos personales de los huéspedes según a ella le parece ( es la que me tomó mis pertenencias y las apiló en una caja), y encima limpia mal y tira cosas de la habitación como si fueran propias. Un día que no vine a dormir, durmieron en mi cama, que asco!! Es un lugar que no recomiendo bajo ningún punto de vista!!! Muy mala atención, jamás visto en ninguna parte del mundo!! Deberían clausurarlo!

Buonissima posizione per visitare il centro città. Personale simpatico e molto disponibile. Molte attività organizzate dal personale come ad esempio la possibilità di fare un free walking tour verso sera visitando punti panoramici meno turistici. Camere pulite e zone comuni molto accoglienti. Complessivsmente un ottimo ostello, molto giovanile e in pieno centro città. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato!
