This was one of my worst experiences staying in this hotel.
Pilows smell horrible
Mattress was so hard that I felt I’m sleeping on a floor.
Poor hygiene
When I did my first entry I feels that I’m entering in a cowshed.

The hotel is located not far from the metro.staff at the reception and guard guy are great. They are very helpful and really very nice all of them. It is a cheap hotel and you can not expect more. The cleaning of the room is not very good. Mirror was dirty, shower glass also. They have renovated room, and bed is quite comfortable. If you are looking for cheap stay this variant can be good. It is very dirty in the elevator and corridors

Great value for money
Location depends why you’re visiting Guangzhou ..
Stayed here for Canton fair and easy access to the fair complex
Originally my room was upgraded but I spent one night in this room and the noise from downstairs was (not sure if it was a restaurant/karaoke or club but was so loud all night)
The next morning the staff helped me change rooms back to my original room and was much better with absolutely no noise
Not sure if that’s a common thing or just bad luck with the first thing but wasn’t going to wait out a few nights and see

It was a great stay. The best thing about the hotel is the location, which made our trip very convenient. Service from the hotel was excellent and staffs were very helpful. Special thanks to Jason, who helped us whenever we needed.

The absolute worst experience ever. The walls are paper thin, meaning you can hear everything so when I was having a casual FaceTime with my friend I had a man banging on my door and screaming at me, which even when I quickly went quiet did not stop. He persisted banging and shouting at me in Chinese which I don’t understand so even if I had answered we couldn’t have communicated. He then got the hotel staff to come and bang even louder to which I answered as I felt safer doing so, for them to also just shout at me in Chinese. They didn’t replace my cups or change my bed for the week I was there. The construction starts at 7am and persists all day and the toilet smells of sewage. Stay well away from here. Worst place I have EVER stayed. Oh and there was mould in the room to top it off. Luckily I checked out and got a refund for the remaining nights.
