Amara Hanoi Hotel and Spa recensioner

Great location with lots of shops and restaurants around, but the hotel isn’t new. The room is spacious, but the only window is a narrow 20 cm one facing a construction site. It feels more like a 3-star hotel, not 4-star. Also, the spa doesn’t exist—it’s actually the staff dormitory. The spa is listed as an amenity, but there’s no actual service.

This hotel offers reasonable pricing for its prime location in the heart of the Old Quarter, surrounded by many lovely shops and restaurants . While the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the, the tiny window limits natural light and views, making the rooms feel somewhat gloomy.

Great walking distance from a lot of great dinings and coffee shops. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay. Overall, I don’t mind staying here again.

Cheap, no thrills hotel. Excellent location and that's why you stay here. Fairly clean if not dated decor. So it's fine if you're out and about and looking for a decent value place to stay.

Decent hotel to stay

Mình mới ở đây hôm qua, bước vào lobby 1 mùi thơm thoang thoảng, làm mình thấy rất dễ chịu… phòng thì đơn giản, đầy đủ, có thang máy… TV coi được đúng 1 kênh, chỉnh hoài ko được… Tới tối toilet của tụi mình bị hư, đi toilet nó bị chảy ra phòng, bốc mùi hôi thúi… sáng tụi mình có báo cho lễ tân xử lý dùm, nhưng đợi rất lâu… tụi mình nằm trong đó mún ngợp thở, rồi quyết định trả phòng sớm… thì mấy bạn có offer đổi phòng cho mình… phục vụ mình thấy các bạn nhiệt tình, thân thiện, vui vẻ… ăn sáng ít món nhưng cũng đầy đủ sự lựa chọn…. Hy vọng hotel sẽ khắc phục sự cố…

Хороший отель,на тихой улице,с хорошей шумоизоляцией.Расположение удобное. Завтраки хорошие, кофе вкусный.

酒店很方便找到，早餐还不錯，可以单点鮮牛河粉不用費用味道不錯只是要等得久些，法包很松软正，只是房間有窗但沒有阳光跟隔壁距離太近了！其他都不錯

分配的房間是內窗，可能是低價房的緣故吧，預訂時並沒有説明。酒店中規中矩，入住時還有裝修施工的痕跡。第二天早上7點左右就開始裝修是非常不好的體驗。

Friend was on the phone with them while I booked online. Said they do not have superior room available however the website indicated they do. When questioned, insisted that they only have the junior suite and said they did not close the booking. Requested to cancel booking and for a refund of prepayment. Denied refund. I am aware of the cancellation policy however was booked for less than 5 mins! And they were unable to provide what was booked.

The team here is amazing, especially Mr. Pete, who was incredibly helpful. They made everything so easy, from booking our day trips to arranging airport pickup and drop-off. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here for a total of 4 nights. The staff and the service they provide is what makes this place. Mr. Max organised everything for us ahead of us arriving, including organising tours for the Ha Giang loop and Ha Long Bay cruise. Between each of these tours we stayed at Amara and it almost felt like home when returning back each time. An example of the brilliant service this hotel offers was when we first arrived, 3h before check in and my partner was suffering from food posioning. Mr. Max noticed this and arranged for an early check in immediately. Another time the bus tour for Ha Long Bay left without us and Ms. Luna made sure we got a taxi to be picked up by the tour at a different location. Only thing that can be improved is the hotel breakfast, we felt it was lacking compared to other hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. But the location is superb. You’ll be in safe hands here, definitely book!
