"Average hotel which sometimes can meet your needs perfectly. In my case, I didn't even plan to stay in Comillas. However, my feet started bleeding after the fourth day of trail running. I needed some respite altogether with some others from our group. So we stopped in Comillas for a couple of days. I was happy the rooms were equipped with baths instead of shower cabins. That enabled me to partially heel the wounds, put on some tapes and darn tough with 1 size oversize boots and continue the running later to Pendueles. However the hotel other than its price did not really stun. Everything was average. The breakfast, too."

"It is the second time we have gone after opening in February and we intend to repeat. Check-in and check-out take place at the hotel, within walking distance of the apartments and with very polite and pleasant staff. The basic apartment has a spacious living-dining room with a sofa bed and a large terrace, an independent kitchen with a terrace and garden, a bedroom, a room with two beds and a bathroom. It is modern and tastefully decorated, fully equipped with kitchenware and table, induction hob, microwave, toaster, Italian coffee maker, iron, hairdryer, televisions in the living room and bedroom... The part that makes the apartment ugly on the two occasions We have been in the bathroom, with obvious signs of wear on the bathtub and doors, small size and no extractor fan. Attention with the kitchen: there is a switch for the use of microwave/extractor and hot water/heating separately. Everything is perfectly explained in a welcome sheet with important information that they provide you at check-in or leave on display in the dining room. I have read some comments where this point is made clear and it is not an ABBA defect but a security measure regulated by the autonomous community of Cantabria. Please read this information to avoid surprises and unpleasant comments for no reason. The sofa with very soft anti-stain fabric and the beds were extremely comfortable, the pillows were short but comfortable, two per person. They only use fitted sheets, pleasant to the touch. The light duvet seemed the same in February and June and we have only seen one light blanket per room. The towels are amazing. The water pressure, great, ten. And the floor is also very comfortable, with rustic tiles and wood in the rooms, very pleasant for those of us who love to go barefoot. To put a but, and in reality it is important: you hear everything. The walls look like paper, doors, steps, use of the bathroom... you can hear the slightest noise from the neighbors. Absolute cleanliness in every corner. Not so present in the kitchenware, I understand that it depends more on the cleanliness of each guest. There is no problem with parking, they have a private one under the apartments but there are free spaces around the street and it is a very large and quiet area, about 5 minutes from the center by car."

"Utmärkt, bra plats, service och renhet.Jag kommer definitivt att rekommendera det och kommer tillbaka.Konsekvenserna är att vi måste klättra lite för att komma till fastigheten, men det är uppbyggt av de fantastiska vyerna. Inga AC-enheter, vädret var trevligt, som kan sova med öppna fönster, men på sommaren kan bli mycket varmt.I allt var det en bra vistelse, värddatorer var super trevliga, vänliga en boende."

"Vilken trevligt slut på natten när vi gick på Camino del Norte i Abba Comillas.Rummet var luftigt, bekvämt, rent och hade en vacker och stor balkong med fantastisk utsikt över var vi njöt av kylt vin. Vi var där på säsongen (de flesta gäster var faktiskt pilgrimer), så det var allt tyst, men hotellet var tydligt underbemandat.Utmärkt frukost serverades i ett ljust middagsrum med havsutsikter. Bara en kommentar till förvaltningen: privata balkonger är stora tillgångar att kyla, men varför på jorden har så obekväma möbler (t.ex. sittande)?Förresten är Comillas en spännande stopp på Camino. Havets front erbjuder stora ätmöjligheter för middag (uppskatta ca 30 minuters promenad från hotellet)."

"The apartment is spacious but very old, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. It has no elevator, no dishwasher, the WiFi is terrible and they only give you a scouring pad, a cloth and a few bars of soap. They don't do the cleaning and the pool is a 10 minute walk away. And all this for €250 a night!!!!!!"
