A place true to its heart, you just not live freely, but you live free from any sort of judgements, personal responsibilities and free from your hometown, yet in home nested between the hills, which you can call a home too, Not limited to the friendly welcome, But Avtar, being the manager over their will also help you in making best of the itenary and unlocking Mcleodganj from a new perspective that you might not find on google or somewhere else. Drop him a Hi, if you plan to visit

Thats the best hostel I have ever been . The manager avtar best person I have ever met in my life . he is the kind of person every hostel need . and he is also multitalented person he is a photographer, storyteller, writer, musician, mountaineer. and many things . mai yha 7 din ruka tha sirf avtar ki big se ye Banda har traveller ke liye inspiration hai . isse strong Banda bhi dekha men aj tak isne hum Abhi guest ke liye storytelling bhi ki roz horror stories sunata tha hame . Air food iss hostel ka la jawab . Jo bhi iss hostel ke owner hai unse request hai avtar jaisa Banda aapko nhi milega trust me . Mai km se km 16 hostels Mai ruk chuka hu .

Absolutely loved my stay! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of McLeodganj right from the rooms. Everything was spotless—the rooms, washrooms, and even the cafe areas. The vibe is unmatched, and the staff made us feel at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and super cozy with comfortable beds and warm blankets. The cleanliness here is next level—the washrooms were big and spotless. Loved the board games in the cafe, and the scenic location was just the cherry on top. If you're visiting McLeodganj, don't think twice—stay here! Highly recommend!

I had a single bed in one of the rooms - extremely well-maintained and clean, blankets were really great, and we even had a small reading light. Rooms also had a locker facility to keep belongings

Live Free Hostel exceeded all expectations! The vibe of the property was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always eager to help, adding to the cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The location is unbeatable The services provided were top-notch, with clean facilities and comfortable common areas. Overall, an exceptional stay – would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience in McLeodganj!

I enjoyed my stay at Live Free Hotel where I got to experience some ethereal scenic beauty, fun games ***** with some delicious meals. The rooms were comfortable. The wifi could be improved for the hotel. The professionals guided us about the best places to visit which were intriguing for the students.

We are a college group stayed here for 2 nights. It is almost a seamless hassle free experience. A well mechanised hotel administration and hospitality team for a joyful experience. We would like to revisit the property and also recommend for solo travelers and college trip or bulk booking.

It was the wonderful experience., the vibe , the view, the staff and management.. Terrace was just amazing. Spacious cozy rooms And the content manager aftaar was the humble and respectful person. It's been a pleasure to be there.........
