Idyllic Samui Beach Villa Resort

The resort cleanliness level is very good. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating except for 1 night staff who doesn’t seemed to know much about the job. I checked in very late in a stormy rain. When I arrived, I needed to know how I can contact or get help should I need; there is no shelter linked to the main office, no telephones for you to contact them. He couldn’t produce it. We also needed to ask what our breakfasts were and where we could have them. It was only upon checking he gave us a menu. He seemed to not know many things and can’t converse well in English. There was a booklet for all the guests for you to read so u know what’s in for you. It states that if you wish to do laundry on your own, the resort would provide the detergent. We requested, but the staff said they wouldn’t provide. I asked them to refer to the booklet but she said it was not updated. We needed to buy on our own. We went out and when we returned, a packet of detergent was there for us though. The 4 days we were there, the rain was almost non stop. We booked this resort because we felt that even if we couldn’t get to anywhere we could enjoy the resort still. But, this was not possible. The internet connection was persistently an issue. There was sometimes the pop up page to connect and sometimes it would not activate. We couldn’t watch much. The speed was horrendous even for me to do any work, or any uploading of my media files. We wanted to catch from football games but the internet was just too slow. We had to use our hotspot to watch the games or do anything quicker. There were some stairs leading to the main door of the villa, when it rains, there was a part that was very slippery. It was constructed with some kind of slopes with a little bit of steps… I’m not sure why they would want to construct it that way, because I’ve got elderlies traveling with me. If you are looking to go out all the time and only needed a shelter, this accommodation may work. But if you are here during a monsoon season, and are looking to do some work using the internet, you are in for lots of frustrations. On the day of departure, we had a punctured Tyre. The staff helped to get someone to come and help repair it. In the end, we were able to leave safely. All in all, I believe the staff is one of the main reasons the resort is doing ok.

We could not believe how lucky we were to find this place: the resort is located right next to Six Sense Samui, so we got the same private beach at a lot cheaper price! It was an ideal location and configuration for our family group (4 families from around the world): we had a sea front villa with the direct access to the beautiful beach, stunning views, the pool was kid friendly and used a lot by our grandkids (aged 3 and 7). The villa was spacious, spotlessly clean, grounds and pool maintenance impeccable, and the kitchen's well equiped too. Everything is within a relatively short drive: attractions, shops, cafes (we had a car). The hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful, went an extra mile to answer to every question or request. The suggestions in regards to the local food and shops were spot on. And home made ice cream and coffee were a pleasant bonus. Would gladly return for the next relaxing holiday.

This is terrible!!! Dirt and rudeness!!! Don't come here!! I have never met such a terrible attitude, the girl manager at the lobby is just terrible, absolutely not friendly, and when my husband made a remark to her, she started grumbling and waving her hands at him and when we asked her name she wanted to call the police!!! We are just in shock, we asked her boss, but she said that nothing would happen to her, she has been working here for 6 years and does what she wants and won't tell him anything. It was all just disgusting, we haven't been humiliated like this before. We booked apartments, but we were upgraded to a villa - and constantly reproached with this. The villa itself is a horror!! When we stopped by, the TV was not working, the dishwasher and the extractor hood over the stove, the air conditioner, there was no kettle and coffee machine, there was not even a clothes dryer in the sun. There was no hot water for two days!! Some of the problems were fixed in 2 days, but most of them remained. At the same time, the whole villa is dirty - everything is stained, everything is falling apart and oh, horror, we have mouse poop everywhere!!! There is garbage and stones in the grass on the street, you can't walk without shoes. There is sand in the pool. They never apologized to us for this horror, but only the manager shouted and said that she would not apologize, do not like it - leave. I really hope that the head of the hotel asks for this review and will put things in order. Yes, the rooms are cleaned every other day, and accordingly bath towels and beach towels are also changed every other day (((( Photo inside the villa, apparently covid killed this place.
