Worth a read for those families traveling from English speaking countries. Overall a poor experience for a camp site priced at the mid - high tier price point. We stayed mid August for for seven nights in an Mykonos bungalow priced @ €2368 self catering our children where aged 7 and 12 years booked directly. Taxi transfer is straight forward and costs €55 from Reus airport and takes 22 mins, return is slightly cheaper @ €50. Arrival at reception is very underwhelming and really set the standard for the rest of our experience. We arrived late afternoon, where assigned our bungalow number and sent on our way little to no explanation on the services available just a couple of X's on a map. Our accommodation was the best part of the experience, room sizes are fine and what you would expect the air condition for a small place is excellent with units in the main bedroom and main living area. There is a small kitchen with all of the basics you need for self catering and the dishwasher is super handy and worked well. Décor is in relatively good condition all be it the Mykonos are advertised as "NEW" they are diffidently not new and look tired in places so I would be extremely wary of booking any of the older accommodation available. Cleaning standards prior to arrival are questionable and the place was grubby or dirty in lots of places. Showers where very dirty including lots of hair etc. etc. and smelled of urine from the pervious guests. Upon arrival all of doors in the bungalow where open and as such the smell of dirty toilet bowels was very strong and took some effort to air the place out again asking questions on the cleaning standards prior to arrival. The bungalows are right beside the beach with easy access. The beach of relatively small but nice non the less. The facilities: The pool area is nice and despite previous reviews we found the life guards to be excellent, attentive and on the ball in minding users of the pool area. Be aware you need to arrive at 9.50 to leave your towels and save beds or you will not get a place to relax. The biggest problem with both the pool and sun lounger setup is the sheer numbers of guest on the camp site. At times in the pool without being dramatic has users at shoulder to shoulder in the pool also leaving the water at a standard. As with most of the facilities on the site there are double the amount of users that I am sure they were designed for. Kids clubs and shows / entertainment are a no go if your kids don't speak Spanish. While the staff running them are friendly there is zero attempt to include English speaking elements to the shows or activities. This is fine obviously it is Spain after all and its their language but a definite watch out for those travelling from outside of Spain. The one positive I will add on the kids entertainment is the night time pool party. Site not inclusive of multinational Kids activities not as described Evening entertainment not as described Animation team zero English Staff unhelpful Maintenance team great came on same day to help (blocked drain and ants in bungalow) Supermarket excellent and pricing great, fresh bread and pastry available everyday No beach activities as described Avoid unless you have a car €40 round trip to closest town (Miami) €50 Cambrils €60 airport No shops or bars in walking distance Takeaway not good pizza and chips only Wildcat very nice however if you have no booking you won’t be served No recycling Rubbish not collected often Sanitation facilities dirty around the site (pool, bar etc) Not inclusive, very dated, dirty site, would not recommend or return

Went to the site with our caravan, pitch sizes vary (extra cost for large pitches) Some trees need cutting as they are quite low. Staff are excellent, toilet blocks immaculate, plenty to do on site. The negatives are that maintenance could improve, bins overflowing, some garden areas full of weeds. To improve the site a bridge is needed to cross over the water culvert near the beach & more steps needed to get on the beach near the touring pitches.

We stopped here for two nights with our motorhome. We had booked a beach pitch but due to weather and the sea hammering the pitches we were swapped to another. The site itself is nice, views of the sea. Nothing really to do in the area unless you have transport. Very relaxing quiet site. Showers - the facilities themselves are lovely, however there has been no hot water for 2 days ?? No explanation. Food at the buffet was ok. Luke warm but something to fill a hole. Would we return. Most probably not to this site. However there sister site - Costa Blanca. There I would. Same company two very different parks.

Brand new bungalows right by the beach and at a reasonable price. The whole venue is clean and well kept. Great restaurants...only down side is the small and badly equiped gym and you have to pay extra to have a sauna.

Hace más de diez años que venimos a este camping, pero de un tiempo para haca está muy dejado. El mantenimiento es casi nulo y la limpieza deja mucho que desear. Los servicios están sucios y con papeles en el suelo. 1) Las duchas de la zona B han estado sin luz los diez días que hemos estado. 2) Las duchas de la zona A alcachofas que sobresale agua por la cadena y otras que no sale agua por estar obstruidas. Sin dejar de mencionar la ducha que lleva varios días sin alcachofa. 3) Faltan pestillos en las puertas de algunas duchas y en algunos lavabos. A todo esto estábamos acostumbrados a un servicio de animación de excelencia y año tras año se ha ido reduciendo hasta llegar a este año que ha sido deprimente. El Teen Club solo abren tres días por la noche a la semana y hasta 23:30h. El año pasado abrían todos los días hasta la 1 de la madrugada. Este año faltan muchas cosas ( mesas, sillas y los puff de estrella no están,...) Mencionar también que este año que teníamos un poco más de arena en la playa de la zona B no hay ninguna escalera para poder bajar. La gente tiene que bajar por las piedras, con el peligro que eso comporta o irte hasta la zona A a l'altura del xiringuito para poder bajar por las escaleras. Espero que para próximos veranos hayan encontrado algún a solución. Espero que tengan en cuenta esta opinión y muchas más y pongan remedio. Se está perdiendo la esencia del Camping Els Prats.
