I recently had a terrible experience staying at this hotel apartment. It was my first time staying at a hotel that closes at 5 pm, which was incredibly inconvenient. Despite trying to contact them via email, I only received an automatic reply, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, after our plane landed, we received a message saying that they were about to close and we needed to hurry (plane arrived at 10pm). This was extremely stressful and not a pleasant way to start our stay. Additionally, the laundry facilities were a huge disappointment. Although the apartment was fully equipped, the laundry room was incredibly stinky and unpleasant to use. I would not recommend this hotel apartment to anyone, especially if you are traveling by plane and won't be able to check in before 5 pm. Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere. However, they have a good view.

Do not bother booking this apartment!!! The rooms weren’t clean and service is terrible. We haven’t received our bond back after a month and three emails to them. We requested new sheets and were handed them to change our self! I definitely would book else where- very disappointing!

Nightmare. The most disgusting hotel you can stay at is the Winston apartments. Rude receptionists dirty bedsheets and couch. Nothing is like the pictures they have provided on third party websites and their own website. Took two weeks for our bond to be released. When it took them less then 10 seconds to take it. Would never never recommend it to anyone.

My friends and I stayed in a Deluxe 2 bedroom, The room had not been cleaned, the bathrooms had mould in the corners, hair was through the bathrooms and around lounge and fridge, there was a built up of dust. My friends and I were very uncomfortable with the state of the apartment so we spoke to reception and they could not change room but we’re willing to get cleaner to re-clean. After it was re cleaned I felt better but it made me question how could this happen. Overall apartment from the cleaning issues had a great view and location. Though I did find it odd that there was 2 receptions, we had to go to the 33rd floor to check into our room. Seemed like a different kind of operation happening there!?

The apartment is clean and conducive. Furnished tastefully and complete. The washing machine serves us well. Location superb, the free tram stop is just in front of the building and made access to shopping centers, train station, bus terminal easy and fantastic. There are eateries at walking distance. Lift to the apartment is quick and not crowded. If come to Melbourne again, this will be my choice of stay and i highly recommend.

The location is good, free tram right out front into the City, Woolworths supermarket right across the road, and a few cafes which are open - but only during the week. Weekend is dead at this part of Docklands. The booking, check in and instructions were 10/10 - cannot fault the customer experience. The room was tiny - a tiny apartment but adequate for our needs and the inclusions were good. My gripe and reason for low rating is the bed situation and cleanliness. The ‘king’ bed (two singles pushed together were clearly old and well used. One side had a mattress protector, the other side did not- and the mattress clearly had blood and vomit? Stains on it - visible through the sheet! The pillows did not have pillow protectors and were stained yellow. It was too late at night to rectify so I spent the night on the sofa. Reception were contacted and the bed was remade with a mattress protector - I advised it was unhygienic and needed replacement. They said they would after we check out. I hope they do! In all, some more attention to cleaning wouldn’t go astray! Eg, vacuuming - carpets looked like they had not been vacuumed, the vacuum in the place had no suction. Didn’t know what yo think of the pet protector over the couch - kind of ruined the ‘cute’ decor…. I’d focus more on bed than couch if I was them! Also, on a very windy night the high pitched drag of air/wind noise was very annoying, impeding sleep. A towel at the base of entry door fixed that. Would I stay again…. Because of the mattress - a big no. As for the facilities and location it’s a shame as it’s a good location and staff.

This place wasn’t too bad for the money factor, it was actually pretty sound proof the only noise we heard was from the wind being so high up. Good features about the property is that it has everything if you want to cook, washing machine, dryer, as well as some complementary things like body wash, shampoo, washing power to do washing. The receptionist was super lovely & friendly, and it does have a heated pool and spa with gym. There was a couple of downsides we had cigarette burns in one of the blankets, it looked like the toilet seat was maybe stained or had mould and same with the grout in the shower. It looked like the shower head is placed wrong, it doesn’t really stay up, it floods the bathroom and you can tell the room we stayed in had water damage to the bottom of the door frame and was taped up.

We booked a 2 bedroom riverview @ $550.00 per night. Thinking it will be lovely, on arrival discovered that our room was very unclean. Evident that the floors hadn't been vacuumed or mopped, hair everywhere, carpets dirty, hand prints over walls and windows, dead bugs on window seals, dead bugs squished into the ceilings, kitchen cupboards had food / drink spills, drawers not clean just felt dirty overall. Sink missing the drain plug, tiling on balcony not grouted. This isn't what you would expect in Melbourne city for $550.00 per night. I requested to change rooms but was advised non available, so we had to leave our hotel room and wait for cleaners to come back. They did an okay job it was better but still lots to tend to. It needs a proper clean. I emailed the hotel several times to complain and not had any response. I wouldn't stay here again. They either need to up their standard for rate they are charging, or reduce the charges for lower standard hotel.

The service I received over the phone regarding a booking I had made was promptly attended to and without fuss. Both reception staff and the manager on duty were wonderful in their dealings. 10/10 for service! When staying in Melbourne again I will definitely been seeking out this property 09/09/2022
