Kona Hotel Verona by Kleos Group Collection

I stayed here for a night when researching the area. There were a few groups in the hotel and I ate the same food as them. It was delicious. I spoke to a few of them and they were very happy. I loved this hotel! I loved the fact that it is a family run business and that all of them are there, including the grandparents and grandchildren. It had a lovely warm atmosphere.

This hotel is a catastrophe. The window broke off its hinges in my room, leaving me vulnerable to attackers and intruders. The food was not very nice, only pasta available for dinner. The beds were as stiff as a rock, and it did a poor job at accommodating me and my 2 buddies. The hall section between the rooms was very open and spacious leaving much room for activities. The roof of my friends room fell down which could’ve caused serious harm. I was also attacked by Bigfoot in your hotel leaving me shell shocked and paranoid. I do not think I will be visiting again.

The room was nice, but it was basic. The view from the room was lovely. The food was a complete disaster. I stayed in the hotel for three nights. On the first night we were only able to choose from two different pasta dishes for a starter and some chicken and something else I don’t even know the name of. Those were the only options for food and if you didn’t eat that you didn’t eat at all. The pasta was not cooked properly and the sauce was clearly store bought and the chicken was not cooked properly either. On our second night we requested pizza and pasta instead of the undercooked chicken. We were served pizza and pasta but again, both items were store bought. On my third night I found a hair in my pasta and was later told that there was CATS in the kitchen. The breakfast wasn’t good either. You could choose from two cereals or a croissant. One person from the group I was with found a fly in their coffee. The staff were also quite rude, for example, we were in the lobby and the woman working at the counter asked us “what is your problem now?” We had to pay €9 to use the swimming pool for half an hour. Overall I wasn’t happy with this hotel. Do not stay in this hotel!!!

Mi ero ripromessa di non scrivere una recensione, ma dopo quello che è successo a capodanno non ho potuto non farla. La camera (324 nella struttura 3 stelle) si presenta piena di crepe alle pareti, con nelle pareti macchie di liquidi scuri (caffè?) solidificate. Le prese elettriche sono in parte rotte, ma tutte con il doppio foro allargato, nel quale qualsiasi tipo di caricabatterie sta storto e fatica a funzionare. Ho dovuto comprare una multipla con presa larga per riuscire ad utilizzarle. Tutte le prese sono a dir poco luride. Il frigo bar non funziona. Il ventolino per il bagno cieco non funziona. Lo scopino per wc è sporco e pieno di carta igienica, il lavandino è crepato. Il piatto doccia è crepato in 4 punti (pericolosissimo!). Il soffitto del bagno è completamente ammuffito e pieno di umidità. La doccia ha il rubinetto montato al contrario, devi spingere verso il muro per aprirlo. Il palo della tenda è storto. Dentro l'armadio c'è il muro vivo colorato pieno di graffi e un ripiano che sta su per miracolo perché attaccato per aria, non poggia a terra, ci sono almeno 10 cm di vuoto al di sotto e viene sorretto nella parte posteriore da un mattone. La poltrona aveva incastrati pezzi di polvere e di cibo che presumo essere patatine. Allego foto di tutto se riesco. Nonostante tutto questo non avrei scritto la recensione e sarei tornata, se non fosse per quello che è successo a capodanno. Per la festa era previsto un menù per adulti a 119 euro e per bambini a 50 euro compresa l'animazione per tutti. Tutto bello se non fosse che per i bambini è stato un incubo. La cena inizia alle 19.30 con aperitivo di benvenuto. Alle 20.20 circa iniziano portando il primo agli adulti. Il primo dei bambini non arriva. Alle 21.20 circa arriva il secondo primo degli adulti. Per i bambini ancora nulla. Chiedo al cameriere quando arriverà il primo dei bambini, e mi dice che arriveranno subito, ma non succede. Alle 22 arriva il sorbetto per gli adulti, poco dopo, alle 22.20 circa arriva il primo per i bambini, quasi in contemporanea arriva il secondo per gli adulti. Alle 23 circa arriva il dolce per gli adulti, ma per i bambini non è ancora arrivato il secondo. Provo a chiedere diverse volte, deve arrivare la cotoletta con le patatine, ma niente, non arriva. Ci sono diversi tavoli con bambini, a un solo tavolo arriva finalmente il secondo per i bambini, circa alle 23.40, al che chiedo al cameriere come mai a noi non arriva. Gli spiego che mio figlio è autistico, che già è stato difficile vista la sua neuro divergenza che la cotoletta è come una crocchetta di pollo ma più grande (si, sembra assurdo per noi, ma per un autistico anche la differenza di dimensione delle pietanze viene associata a cose diverse) ma nonostante tutto lo avevo convinto nei giorni prima del viaggio a mangiarla, ma ancora non arrivava nulla e mi trovavo un bambino affamato che non faceva altro che chiedermi quando poteva mangiare anche lui. Visto che non arrivava il cibo ho chiesto al cameri

Un desastre. El hotel cuenta con dos edificios separados, uno con instalaciones de 4 estrellas, el otro a unos 200 metros, con recepción separada, (histórico lo llaman en su web) es un 3 estrellas que se cae de viejo, las habitaciones y los baños son un desastre. Para hacer cualquier petición hay que salir al otro edificio pues el "histórico" no tiene a nadie en el mostrador de recepción. No se dejen engañar, pues como te envíen al 3 estrellas la has fastidiado. Del hotel "moderno" no puedo decir nada pues solo vi la recepción cuando fui a pedir toallas para mi habitación del 3 estrellas.
