Very satisfied with my families stay at Park West, we had stayed here several years ago, the rooms were clean and nice, the hotel is right by the subway connecting you all over New York. The staff were friendly and allowed a late check out, thank you

Nice hotel beside Central Park, I came with my wife and friends, everyone was satisfied, the hotel is good value in my opinion and it is safe neighborhood, the staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and well equipped, we will return here next trip to NYC.

The only thing positive about this hotel was the staff. I feel sorry for them having to represent. The on line photos are beyond flattering. The rooms are dark, gloomy, outdated, lack storage, counters and any functionality at all. Only place to sit is on the bed. There was no coffee in this hotel anywhere. No vending machines. Zero amenities. Window air conditioner, loud and not conducive for a good night sleep. Never stay here with children, they would go crazy with the lack of space. Hallways are narrow and dark. Same with stairway. Floors are uneven and slanted. Yes, it’s across from Central Park, but there are hundreds of options that offer that. It’s a neighborhood location, so not a walkable area for shopping, eating, etc. This is a place that you leave early in the morning and come back when you’re ready to go to sleep. They advertise free Wi-Fi and bottled water in your room, but their $48/day residence fee covers that. I expected to see bugs, but thankfully did not. No in room safes, no in room refrigerator. Will never stay there again.

This is probably one of the jankiest hotels I have ever stayed in and would not recommend it to anyone. For context, I was traveling for work for two weeks. Here is what bothered me: - No deadbolt on the door - No safe in the room - No chair at the tiny "desk" - No mini fridge - Room was minute - There was no shelf or counter space, no drawers, and the closet was a half closet so all of my dresses and pants had a wrinkle in them where I had to fold them to fit. - The floor was uneven and had holes where it seemed like someone stomped through the floor and they just covered it up with carpet. The carpet also felt dirty. - Cold showers for probably 10 of the 15 days that I was there. Didn't matter what time of the day I showered (before 7 am, after 9 am, 10 pm) - all of them were freezing cold. - Walls were paper-thin. I could hear every movement from the hallway, upstairs and next door neighbors. - The room's AC unit is installed via the window so on cold days, my room was freezing. - The hotel just feels old (old carpet, old fixtures, old furniture) - Blankets were scratchy and need to be replaced. I think they were burned in the dryer. What I liked: - WiFi actually worked and was free - Free water every day - Bed and pillows were decent - Offered C.O. Bigelow soap and shampoo - I did not see any bugs - The staff were helpful and kind - Same day laundry service on the next block Overall, I would NOT stay here again. It is TERRIBLE for business travel.

i went there with my friend hoping to have a memorable trip in nyc, well trust me it was because of this hotel. This is the worst place you could go to, we were first set in a bedroom that was nothing like the ones we reserved. The bathroom was DISGUSTING there was literally something that looked like excrements in the bath, mold on the celling and no locks on the doors. They moved us to a new one after we complained about it. The new one was a bit better, but the AC wasn’t working, and the heater was placed right next to one of the bed, making it super hot. Impossible to sleep during the night, the AC that wasn’t working was still making some weird noises and the heater sounded like it was about to explode and we couldn’t turn it off/down. We had to find a new hotel after one night there. Honestly not worth the price at all, don’t make the same mistake as us and trust the reviews.

The cancelation is unacceptable, now I have to find a hotel in New York for next week! I had a good rate but now Prices are so much more expensive of course. I tried to contact them for other option but did not hear back from them...

I've been here for 3 nights. The Hotel is right next to the Central Park west. So nice to Walk around!!! The Team members, especially Yaya, CJ, Hamid are so caring, helpful and nice. Had many advices for doing things.... Subway station only 3 minutes to walk!! Nice breakfast place around!

I booked here for a 12 day stay. I think I was misinformed by all the reviews as most guests usually stay here for 1 or 2 days maximum. It is intolerable to stay here for so long as I did. Firstly, the photos of the rooms do not represent the real situation. The room was quite dusty, the floor boards squeak all night and you can actually hear when the guest one floor above you flush the toilet. What really pissed me off was that they thought I was a homeless guy staying at the shelter since my stay was so long. I was so embarrassed and they even thought I was doing something illegal that they insisted I allow them into the room as I usually tidy up and sanitise everything especially when it comes to having a child. The housekeeping staff wipes everything in the toilet with the same wash rag: toilet bowl (inside of the rim of bowl), bathtub and face basin. I was so shocked. Clean everything yourself. Also there is an internet charge per day which when added to the nightly rate plus taxes work out to be more than staying at a Hilton or Doubletree chain of hotels. They also held a security fee for almost one week after my departure and it caused my credit card to go into over draft. I had to call them to release the funds. Having stayed worldwide at many hotel being a flight attendant, I must say that this place is a dump. Avoid it all expense!

Travelling to NYC at the end of this month and the hotel have cancelled my booking with no warning or valid reason. I have tried to contact them since and no reply. Now suck trying to find a hotel, as prices have gone up!
