"Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself. We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too. We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful. After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks. We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny"

"1、酒店位置很好，走路去遊船碼頭也就10分鐘之內，附近餐廳非常多，食宿都很方便。房間很大，還有一個客廳，出乎意料，但客廳一側在床邊，旁邊就是街道，早晚有些吵，特別是英國車速一般都比較快，要略注意。早餐是提前準備的麪包酸奶麥片牛奶之類，有的在冰箱裏，有的在儲物櫃裏，不要有太大期待。 2、自駕過來的話，和前台要一張停車卡，每天3英鎊，無限停車，有好幾個位置可以停車，其實很方便。離開的時候，可以先去停車場開車，回來的時候把鑰匙和停車卡放前台就可以。"

"Traditional friendly guest house. Nice , clean bedroom with en suite shower room. 5 mins walk to Windermere centre, easy access to Bowness. Owners were friendly and welcoming with good knowledge of local attractions. We would stay again if in the area."

"非常值得推薦的一家酒店，感謝男女主人的熱情接待，早餐很棒。自製蛋糕令人難忘。 房間：二樓卧室套間，房間面積不大，佈置的很温馨，窗外景色很好。每天會打理衞生，補充耗品，但是不提供拖鞋等用品。 房間的淋浴間的水不是很熱，這點希望改進。 位置：離車站走路10多分鐘，要上下坡。距離湖區主要的公交大約10分鐘路程。距離温德米爾中心也是10分鐘左右。位置很幽靜，相當不錯。 早餐：很好吃，英式標準早餐，提供酸奶果汁咖啡麪包，全套英國早餐，還有店家自製的各種蛋糕、派。是這家店最值得推薦的地方，為男女主人的手藝點贊。"
