Sutera @ Mantanani Resort is the kind of place where time slows down. Comfy air-conditioned rooms, a beautiful stretch of sandy beach, and the sparkling blue sea just steps away. I spent my days snorkeling among colorful fish, kayaking in calm waters, and enjoying island-hopping trips. The restaurant and bar kept me well-fed and refreshed, and the friendly staff made the stay feel extra special. A true hidden gem for anyone craving the ocean breeze, we even can see aKinabalu from the island.

Lovely, beautiful and peaceful anniversary getaway at Sutera @ Mantanani 💙🏝️ It was amazing! This is our 2nd trip to Sutera Mantanani. My husband brought me here once before, and that trip was soo nice that I have to surprise him with another trip to Sutera Mantanani. Kami stay di Deluxe Room atas spa – masih dapat gorgeous beachfront view, so tiap pagi bangun terus dengar bunyi ombak. Room clean & comfortable, ada aircon sama hot shower, tilam pun soft jadi tidur memang nyaman. Pagi-pagi Palau jalan pigi pantai, boleh nampak Gunung Kinabalu dari jauh – memang breathtaking oh. Kami enjoy snorkeling dalam air biru, kayaking tepi pantai, main layang2 sambil rasa angin laut, try ATV ride pusing sekitar kawasan, also kami ada buat batik sendiri (boleh bawa balik 🖌️🌺) sebagai kenangan. Malam ah, baring di pasir sambil tengok starry night ✨, dengar bunyi ombak – rasa peaceful betul. Breakfast okay saja, pilihan tidak begitu banyak, tapi cukup untuk start the day. Overall, memang berbaloi & akan recommend sama family and friends. 🌊

Hidden gem. Stay awake till 2am to see the milky way 😍 beautiful. Thr turqouise seawater, white sandy beach, beautiful sunset. Wish I could stay longer. Tips Book and choose package with land transfer. Day 1 11.30am Board the hotel bus from KK-Magellan resort to Jetty, 1.5 hours. 1pm Arrived jetty, the staff will pre-register and deposit your luggage. 2.30pm 45 mins boat ride to the Mantanani resort. Amazing turqoise seawater. *can't stop mentioning the color of the sea. Check in 6pm walk by the beach to see sunset 2am stars gazing Day 2 6am bright and sunny 7am breakfast 8am join free snorkeling 11am check out 12pm head to the land via boat 1pm board the bus head back to KK Recommend - stay 2 nights in the island

I booked the wrong date but the hotel refused to change it for me when im face to face with the front desk in person.A TOTAL SCAM

I was very expected to stay at 5 stars hotel on the beatiful island, but our room key was broken and we needed to stay outside nearly 1 houer in hot temperature when we arrived. We also found lot's of rubbish included cigarette butt just in front of our room. I asked hotel staff to clean up but they never did. The island is incredibly beatiful, but I was very disappointed with this hotel. I want them to improve, because it's 5 stars hotel.

Very nice beach with good services. However we encounter various occasion where there is no water. B ur overall the view and sandy beach makes up for it.

Trip cancelled by hotel due to bad weather. No prior update by hotel nor trip . Com. No assistance render. We are left on our own without a room for the night. We were extremely disappointed but can understand the situation due to Safety. Also, why were our refund request rejected. Please provide a justification for this cancellation by the hotel.

Full of Chinese tourists !!! If u wanna enjoy ur vacation and stay away from Chinese,this is not for u. No hate but if u know u know. (I’m Asian as well) but I don’t wanna go to an island that full of Chinese tourists. (I even asked the staff,they say they have at lot of Chinese tourists) Service is really nice. People are friendly, English speaking, a lot of cute dogs. No hate again. Just a reminder.

December is the off-peak season. There were two guest parties at that 🌙. I and my wife enjoyed the quietness during staying in the island. Although far away from KK city, We have used the shuttle bus transfer service which is convenient. The complementary snokerling activity is a must do. The 🪸 is less damaged than that in the TAR island park.
