Residenza Piranesi Boutique Hotel

This is the best. Very new, clean, fantastic interior. It's like an apartment of my dream in Rome. The top location - in the middle between Piazza de Popolo and S. M. Maggiore. Very nice and helpful staff. Very good coffee in the bar. Thank you, Eduardo and for the barman (do not know his name, unfortunately ) , you really care about guests.

The hotel is very new and of a high standard. However the staff at reception are a little rude. Be prepared to receive WhatsApp messages quite regularly - they don’t seem to realise that you’re on holidays and they can talk to you when you enter an leave the hotel several times each day.

This is a very stylish hotel located near the top of the Spanish steps and is great for walking to most of the main attractions, we didn’t need a taxi for our whole stay. For a small fee, We were offered an upgrade from a deluxe room to a superior room with a “city view” it’s really a street view and although it’s nice to watch the world go by, it can be noisy during the day. Evenings were much quieter. Check in was easy and we managed to get in a little earlier. The room was beautiful, stylish and had everything we needed, fantastic shower, comfy bed and good storage. Daily water bottles are a lovely touch and much needed. The Sistina 51 next door is really good value for breakfast, set at €15, good quality, friendly staff and ample food. The only issue at the moment is the construction of a new reception area which was right under our room and works started at 8:15am. It was quieter in the afternoon and no work at the weekend. I accept this in a city and noise is always around you and I look forward to returning when the hotel reception is finished. Thank you to all the very helpful, friendly staff.
