Great hotel, nice breakfast, with upper terrace roof deck! Good location , nice service. Comfortable bed, we slept well. We were warned about pickpockets; but as native New Yorkers, we always are alert, and had no problem. Good value and nice stay.

I will admit my stay started off rocky. About a week before my arrival I got an email asking if I needed transportation. I said yes, from the train station. I received a reply that said no need because they are 5 minutes from the train station. Great. Turns out their "sister" property is 5 minutes away and when I arrived it was a big mess for me to try to find transportation..finally waited over an hour for a taxi. The hotel literally could not care that this happened and never even replied to my email. NOW, on to the stay. The room was fairly large and had a small balcony. The bathroom was large but the shower was small but that is normal for Italy. The have an elevator. There is free continental breakfast that has assorted pastries, yogurt, bread, etc. It was a nice snack to get the day going without leaving hungry. The breakfast room was very nice. The staff at the hotel is very friendly. The AC in the room struggled to keep up and we had to make sure we kept it on all day because it would take too long to cool the room down. The hotel was ok with us doing this. One employee, Elena, was especially friendly and helpful. Her dining recommendations were spot on, with one of the restaurants she recommended having the best meal of our trip! The location of this hotel is fantastic! I cannot express to you how amazing this location is. Close to the bottom of the Spanish Steps, short walk to the Trevi fountain. Literally high end stores a few feet away. There is a Main Street a few steps away which was super convenient for taxis to pick us up. I will say for the price and location this hotel is a great choice.

My husband and I spent 9 nights the first week in July 2023 in La Lumiere di Piazza di Spagna. We look for small boutique hotels when we travel and this one was wonderful. The room was totally adequate in size with a big closet, a desk, really great shower and everything we could need. It had air conditioning that you control yourself. Very clean. Breakfast every morning was just the right variety and amount of food to get us through most of the day. And very convenient. The hotel has a tiny elevator that might be an issue for some but it was not a problem for us at all. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, helpful and cordial. I had asked for a restaurant reservation be made before we left home since there was no online reservation option at that particular restaurant. Natalia made the reservation for us and we were all set when we arrived. On my birthday that week the hotel presented me with a bottle of champagne which was so nice of them. The location was even better than we thought it would be. A couple of blocks from the Spanish Steps, one minute walk to any number of restaurants and shops and a 10 - 30 minute walk from most of the main historic sites. The hotel was central enough that after walking all day we could go back and have a rest and then stroll to Trastevere for dinner and a walk along the Tiber River or whatever else we wanted to do. It is convenient to the Metro and taxis and banks. The only issue we had was when we wanted to have a taxi called at 7:00 am to go to the airport there wasn't going to be a concierge on duty before 7:00 to do that. We were unclear if we could be assured of a taxi so early on a Sunday morning at a taxi stand. We went online and eventually found a reliable taxi company and the concierge called the day before we left to arrange for a cab to the airport. So now the hotel has the name and number of Pronto taxi which was really good. We highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay and a great vacation.

This hotel should be avoided at all costs. I had made a booking in March for a stay in July and my booking was confirmed then. 3 days before my arrival date, I received an email that my reservation was cancelled as my credit card was being declined. This is the same credit card that I have used for booking at many hotels during our trip to Italy with not a single problem at any of the hotels. I tried to call the hotel many times but no one picked up the phone. When I finally reached the front desk, they said they were not with the reservation department and asked to send an email with my credit card details. I sent that promptly and it was still rejected. I called the credit card company and they assured me that that there was never any request for authorization from the hotel. So that makes me believe that they chose to simply cancel my reservation and perhaps offer it to someone else at a higher price. Needless to stay, this caused a lot of stress on our vacation and we were thankfully able to find an alternate hotel for our stay on 3 days notice. I am writing this comment to warn others of the unethical practice of this hotel.

Great boutique hotel in a fantastic location near the Spanish Steps. Everyone at the hotel friendly and helpful especially Dominico at the front desk who went out of his way when I lost my cell phone. Super central location in Rome surrounded by fabulous cafes and tons of shopping.

Esperienza fantastica in un tre stelle pulito con tutti i servizi al centro di Roma. Stanza con terrazzo su via condotti. Pulizia, cortesia. Come stare a casa. Silenzioso, lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole venire a Roma

Elegimos este hotel por su ubicación y por decir en la pagina oficial que la recepción funciona las 24 horas .Esto último no es así. A partir de las 23 hs no hay mas personal en el hotel , hasta la mañana siguiente. El día del check out, debíamos partir a las 3.30 a.m. Nos asesoran que era conveniente contratar el transfer a Fiumicino el día anterior , con la empresa que ellos trabajaba para garantizar que cumplirían. El empleado de la recepción agendó el pedido pero El transfer nunca llegó. Esperamos media hora, solos en la recepción. Nos comunicamos al teléfono del hotel que tienen escrito en la puerta. La persona que nos atendió nos dijo que lamentaba mucho el hecho pero había sido otro empleado el que había reservado el transfer y él no podía hacer nada. Solos y desesperados ante la posibilidad de perder nuestro vuelo de las 6 de la mañana, salimos a la calle buscando ayuda. El empleado de seguridad de un local vecino muy amablemente nos ayudó , realizó una serie de llamadas en nuestro nombre y pidió un taxi, el cual arribó a los 6 minutos. Llegamos con el tiempo justo, estresados . No se lo deseamos a nadie. Por esto mismo no recomendamos este hotel. Excesivamente caro y no hay una relación precio-calidad . PD. Quisieron cobrarme 1 euro por página para imprimir los boarding pass. Nunca me había pasado esto en un hotel.....
