Mellini Palace Suites

This is an excellent place. Service is the best I have ever seen. Close to everything that I need. Very clean and the room is very big. The host/manager is very helpful and excellent at his job. View of the river is lovely, We will be back here. 👍👍👍

Had a 4 night stay! Couldn’t find initially as there is not a sign but messaged on *********** received a reply straight away, Valerio came & greeted us and showed us to our room! We stayed in no.4 (5th floor) the room is very clean and modern with nice bed and bathroom, spacious and lovely view of the river! There are 2 main access keys as the block is locked in the early evening, but once you know which key to use it’s fine and very secure! One of ours snapped but we just swapped it the next day and was all working. The air con was great the first night but unfortunately was not cold afterwards so we were a bit hot in our room although it was still comfortable. Window open is nice but crazy car horns blaring on the main roads so couldn’t leave open overnight. The fridge was making a few repetitive clicking sounds also but we just unplugged it overnight. We were given complimentary bottled water on two occasions which was very nice! Valerio was a very friendly host and gave us a map with lots of recommendations, we walked to most places in less than 20mins, trevi fountain, Spanish steps, piazza navona. There are loads of nice bars and restaurants to walk to! We did take a taxi to the colosseum which is only €10-€12 each way. Also shuttle to the airport for only €7 each and a 40 min journey. The double shower is good and the towels are nice and big! Good cleaning everyday. Very good price for this accommodation. Thank you!! :) Special first visit to Rome.
