Welcome House

one floor of an old building...it was ok. Kind of outdated upholstery. The beds were tiny but comfortable. The shower was a mystery....the water came out to the bathroom floor, the drain was saturated so each time I got a shower the whole bathroom got soaked. Very good location, 15 minutes walk from Termini Station and close to many cafes and shops. Personnel was nice, reception was open just for some hours so a password was provided to access the floor. It was ok, not nice but average.

The bed wasn't that good as it was to single bed put together so that wasn't the best. And nothing is included in what you pay like water shower gel shampoo tea coffee you have to pay more each time you use it so your only paying for a room nothing else.

This is a lovely little hotel in a great location, approx 10 mins walk from Termi and 15 mins to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Colosseum. The room has AC and a fridge for drinks with plenty of shops in the area. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Shampoo etc was provided in the bathroom. I would recommend.

Great stay! Perfect location, walking distance to Trevi fountain, wedding cake building and Colosseum (and lots of other sights). 10 minutes from termini so very easy access. Staff are very friendly and the Room was lovely, very spacious and an insanely comfortable bed (best bed in hotel I’ve stayed in for a very long time). Breakfast was basic (coffee was great though) but will suffice until you eat lunch, so many restaurants within 5 minutes. Housekeeping was fab and generally the room was very clean. The only downfall was a small amount of mould in the shower and the shower head definitely needs replacing. The hotel could be better signposted from outside of the building as we were confused at first however we had a very good time!

We stayed there for 5 days and everything was so good. The position of this hotel is so so good it was next to bus stops, you just needed a few minutes to come to the trevi-fontain. The woman at the reception was so kind and helpful. The room were clean and the street in which the hotel is placed is well animated but in the room you don’t hear the noises. The only thing, which was a bit different than expected, was the breakfast. We had crossoint and bread, and cheese, jam, butter and nutella for eat and i would have wished maybe also yoghurt or salami or something like this, but i think this because italian people in general don’t eat that much for breakfast. Otherwise, its really to recommend, espacially for this good price and the excellent location in the city. When i come to rome again i would certainly go there again.

We stayed 5 nights in welcome house. The building is old and a little bit dirty, they didn’t have the room ready for us so we had to wait for them at least half an hour. The bathroom has mould in the walls. The room had so much dust. On our 3rd day they didn’t come to clean out when we were out for a walk and we called them to see what was going on and told us that they were cleaning other rooms. It has 2 beds in one which was very uncomfortable to sleep. And the walls very thin we could hear everything from the other rooms, the cell phone rang from the next room and we thought it was ours. The breakfast was very basic 2 croissant and 2 small breads and we had to eat it in the room so we didn’t eat at all we were eating out. Also one night we noticed at the reception that some rooms were making too much noise and they did absolutely nothing about it. the only positive thing is that it is quite close to many attractions. Αlthough the money we gave, which was quite a bit, was not worth it at all with all that we saw on our holidays.
