I recently stayed here with a group of 50 during our pilgrimage. Let’s just say: the hotel was okay—but everything else? Not so much. First off, the rooms? Let’s just say my suitcase had more square footage. And forget adjusting the AC—we had to call the front desk every single time we wanted it turned on. Apparently, since it “wasn’t summer,” the AC wasn’t activated unless we begged for it like it was a luxury item. Want to open the window for fresh air? Not so fast. You had to sign a waiver just to get the key! What is this—Fort Knox? The food… oh, the food. They served lasagna that was so runny it practically slid off the plate and tried to escape. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to eat it or rescue it. Now, here’s the kicker: I noticed a brand-new piece of clothing I had just bought for the trip was missing. I figured, “Maybe I forgot to pack it?” Got home—nope. Gone. Then I got a call from my roommate during our stay, and guess what? She was missing FIVE pieces of new clothing. I’ve traveled a lot and never had this kind of issue. They warned us about pickpockets in the city—but nobody warned us about the ones in the hotel. Final verdict: If you’re looking for a hotel where your clothes disappear and your lasagna tries to flee the plate, this is your spot.

We stayed at Marc Aurelio hotel with a group of 40 pilgrims from Welwyn Garden City, UK The rooms were spacious, clean and modern and beds so comfortable which is just what we needed after walking round Rome. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The evening meals were amazing, all freshly cooked and abundant portions. Staff in the restaurant were so kind and always helpful and friendly. Will definitely return to Marc Aurelio in the future.

Overall, it was a nice experience. The staff were very kind and friendly and the hotel met my expectations. The hotel premises were very clean and strategically located in a quiet atmosphere in Rome. The metro was only a short distance from the hotel and the buses and taxi easily accessible to the city centre.

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Rome with easy access to the center via the metro, which was a 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel maintains a good standard with very service-oriented staff. The rooms were large and had well-functioning and quiet aircondition. The breakfast was quite decent with a light selection of food, cakes and fruit. maybe missing a bit more selection of toppings, but was still happy with what they had. Didn't eat at theirrestaurant as we mostly ate in the city centre. If you live here, remember to try out pinza at Piotto Boccea and ice cream at Candy Cream Gelateria, which both are located near the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic rooms, for an older hotel the rooms were excellent. It's nicer inside than the neighbourhood. Breakfast was fantastic. Only criticism was there wasn't any coffee or tea in the room or an iron. Please also remember the city tax and that the bar isn't open all day.

Staff very helpful gave us all the directions to metro ect. rooms were lovely and clean floors 4 to 6 just been refurbished. We had a lovely breakfast pasteries was amazing, lovely fruit and cereals. Staff booked us a taxi to airport. Located 10 minutes from metro
