The room was nice and clean. Though there was occasionally a smell which we couldn't put our finger on. The location is a little off the beaten path, and it was sometimes hard to get a cab to take us to various attractions. One morning we thought we were going to miss our Coliseum tour because three cabs cancelled on us. There also aren't too many restaurants real close, though there are some within a 5-block radius. The one true complaint we had was that there was rarely any staff on site at the hotel. Most of the time the desk was empty. And calls to the desk or what's app messages rarely provided much help. My wife hurt her foot and the place didn't even have any ice we could use to ice her swollen ankle. Nor was there anyone on site to ask about it. I was told (via What's App) to go to the pharmacy--not even given an address for the nearest one.

The short review: Stay here - book this property! The room was wonderful and clean, and the service was truly second to none! The long review: I cannot speak more highly of the service and communication from Giulia and Indira. My luggage did not make it to FCO and - being an ignorant American that cannot speak Italian - I struggled to communicate with the luggage retrieval agency. After four days of trying to troubleshoot on my own, I explained the situation to Giulia. She immediately offered to call for me, finding that they had my suitcase, but it was not scheduled to be delivered until after my departure from Rome. She made multiple follow-up calls to coordinate on my behalf and by that night, I had my luggage in hand. I quite literally could not have done that without her. It saved my trip and I do not know how to thank her enough. Add this to Giulia’s patient, kind, and thorough communication prior to our stay - addressing questions about room size, bed setup (they were able to split a large bed into two smaller beds for my friend and me), and airport transfer (she arranged airport pick up, which we highly recommend). The room was clean and spacious - amazing shower with great water pressure and hot water. The location was in a safe and relatively quiet area. It was away of the busiest areas but still had restaurants and shops around the corner, and within 15 minutes walking to attractions and more dense shopping and dining areas. Indira was the face of service for the hotel, presenting a beautiful breakfast spread and kind words every morning. The rooms were serviced every day, so we returned to a tidy room and made-up bed after each day of sightseeing. The comfort and service of Residenza Roma Centro exceeds its price point - do not hesitate to book here. Thank you again Giulia and Indira!

Lovely hotel, clean, quiet and with good service. We were able to book an airport pick up through the conversation with the host. Rooms were well kept and cleaned daily. Great air conditioning, 10 minutes to the nearest metro and around 20 minutes to the trevi fountain. We only had coffee and wrapped pastries for breakfast however the hotel is very close to other cafes/restaurants. A very nice stay.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights. There is no sign that is obvious on the outside of the building, so trust your driver or Google Maps when finding it. The hotel is very secure, you have an electronic code given to you to access the building, another one for accessing your floor, and a different code for accessing your room. We never felt unsafe in the area, and it was an easy 20 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. So, it was in a quiet area, but close to most attractions and shopping. The room was well appointed, air conditioned, and cleaned each day. The beds were comfortable, there is a safe for your valuables in the room as well. The staff at the hotel - there were two we interacted with - Indira as well as the owner (sorry, I forgot her name). Both were very responsive, ordering taxi's for us as well as airport transportation. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. I positively recommend this hotel without any problems and give it 5* for comfort and location. It is not the Westin or Hyatt, but you're also not spending another $500 per night!

A great hotel in the center of Rome. Everything was perfect and the hotel is highly recommended. + Very central location: About 10 mins walking to Fontana di trevi, 5 mins walking to the Barberini metro station and 2-3 mins walking to bus stops. + Very clean both in the rooms and the common spaces. + The room's size was very good and the attention to detail was perfect! Very good lighting, comfortable bed and well equipped room - there was even a makeup mirror in the bathroom which was very useful for my wife! + Very polite staff, ready to help. + Extremely easy and quick check-in and check-out. All in all, we were totally satisfied with our stay and we will be happy to stay again at this place the next time that we are going to visit Rome!

This is a quaint boutique hotel located near the U.S. Embassy… very safe, quite neighborhood yet walking distance to just about everything… the rooms are clean, comfortable and they have a FABULOUS bathroom (great water pressure too!)… They no longer serve breakfast, but they do have 24hr small snacks, coffee, juice and water available at the self-service area of the lobby… you can sit there or bring back to your room… There are two local breakfast spots on either end of the street (take-out or eat-in) and a very good dinner restaurant on the corner as well… these are NOT tourist places, and you get a feel of the local culture and daily life here… Giulia, the owner, is very attentive and available if needed, but never interferes or interrupts your stay… she makes sure you have everything you need and she has a wonderful staff on hand… If you are coming from the airport, I would recommend going through Giulia (hotel website) to book your private transportation (comparable pricing and professional drivers)… We really enjoyed our stay here.. close enough to the hustle and bustle of the city life, yet a quiet getaway to relax and rest… this is not a fancy hotel with room service, it is a comfortable boutique hotel in a local neighborhood where you don’t feel like a tourist! Definitely recommend 😉

Stayed here in May for two nights. The accommodation was excellent. The staff were superb. The breakfast was self service and fantastic. Location perfect. Would highly recommend to others coming to Rome. We needed support with a couple of matters and the staff were incredibly helpful.
