We spent 2 nights at Rest Guesthouse. BE AWARE…if you do not have access to data then you will not be able to get into the building or access the apartment. We were forced to turn our roaming on and pay a daily rate just so we could get in. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are ok but staff need to pay more attention to cleanliness. Other than that, it is located walking distance to the Vatican and a bus to the Colosseum.

We booked a room for 3 people, and I have to admit that the accommodation was really spacious, the room was clean, with a modern interior. They have a self check-in online system and electronic key system for accessing the room, from which you don’t need to have any fear, because everything functioned well. The location was great, it is near the Vatican walls, so you could reach all of the attractions by foot, also 2min by walk is the subway & bus station. Silvia (the host) was really friendly, patient and unbelievable willing to help - especially when we had a problem with stolen belongings in the city centre. She helped us also by solving problem at the Italian police. Thank you one more time!! 😊😊

We booked 2 rooms at the accommodation when travelling with family and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The accommodation is located a street away from the walls of the Vatican but the location still feels quiet and peaceful and tucked away. Silvia (the host) is very helpful and provided good correspondence via What's App once the booking was placed. Through her, we organised private pick up from and to the airport, she provided advice and a discount code for booking a hop-on, hop off bus (highly recommend) and entry to the Vatican. She also organised a Birthday cake, Balloons and Prosecco for a family member travelling with me who was celebrating a birthday. As we were picked up from the airport and dropped at the property we were able to find it easily, We were a little confused on entry at first but that was probably my fault for leaving things and not reading the advice sent. What I would say is make sure you read the info sent. You will need to use your phone to access a link that allows you to electronically unlock and open the 3 doors (Door 1 - Main Entrance to Courtyard and Complex, Door 2: Entrance to Property, Door 3 entrance to Room). Once you get the hang of this it is really easy. What i would say is that you need internet connection to do this. From the street to open the main door you can use your normal connection (3G/4G) but once inside the courtyard area the the signal cuts and you need to connect to the properties WIFI (which is connectable once inside the stairwell B) to open the 2nd and 3rd door so make sure you make note of the password Silvia sends you or you will get stuck and need to go back to the street to look it up! Once through the main door (this may be open if during day) you will need to go into the courtyard and look for staircase B then go up to Level 2 where you will see the name of the accommodation on the door. There is a supermarket next door to the property as well as many small restaurants and cafes in the street and surrounding streets. A few minutes walk away is a main square area that leads into a busier district with shops and Takeaways (McDonalds, Burger King etc)m as well as main stream shops (eg Foot locker) and lots of tourist souvenir shops. The accommodation itself is a private confined area within a building. Once inside the Guest House there is a communal area with a reception desk and kitchen area with free coffee and tea available and the rooms lead off this. The rooms are modern, clean, spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a good shower and facilities. The room included wardrobe with hangers, Safe, fridge, tv, hairdryer. I was really impressed with the rooms as they had everything you need and are really clean, spacious and modern. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and chose to stay there again and would thank Silvia for a lovely stay! I have now stayed at The Rest Guesthouse a 4th time, and, again, I would return there, tomorrow. I loved my previous stays in 2018 and 2019 with the previous owners, Gianluca & Meredith. But The Rest Guesthouse was still the same lovely, clean, tidy and accommodating place, as it had been before. The new owners do have a different check-in system: -key-less entry for street door, keyless code for guesthouse entry, and code/e-key for the door to your room. So much less worry about losing keys! But do contact the property prior to your arrival to receive the codes and their mobile/WhatApp contact. All of our questions were addressed this way. The daily housekeeper was the loveliest young woman who was kind, accomodating and did an excellent job keeping the whole place clean. Tre Caffe is a great caffe right downstairs and around corner for breakfast- which can be included in your stay. Also, Prati is a special neighborhood. Low on tourists, Carrefour grocery is right next to guesthouse and Mercato Trionfale is 2 blocks away for so much fresh food/ready to eat, with cheap wine for filling in water bottles. Can't wait to return to "The Rest."

El edificio y ascensor de acceso muy viejo, deteriorado, pero al interior de la estancia se ve muy bien, bien decorado, amplio, cómodo. Cama cómoda, baño nuevo y bien remodelado, habitación cómoda. El desayuno te lo proporcionan en una cafetería cercana. Al lado del hotel, hay un Carrefour que es muy conveniente para compra de víveres. En el hotel hay una zona comun donde se puede hacer uso de una cocineta. Muy bien ubicado, cerca a estación de metro. La atención y servicio no me gustó tanto, la unica comunicación que tuve con las personas del hotel fue por whatsapp. La tarifa estuvo bien relación precio- calidadad. Para ingresar al edificio, al hotel y a la habitacion suministras claves de acceso. Puerta del hotel de seguridad.
