Hotel the May Jongno recensioner

Platsen var bekväm eftersom det var i ett område med bekväm transport. De sa att jag var tvungen att ansöka om städning i förväg vid 15-tiden, men jag kunde inte höra förklaringen muntligt, så jag blev förvirrad när jag gick in i rummet på kvällen. Jag förstår att de inte städar rummet, men jag blev lite besviken över att se att de inte gav nya handdukar eller vatten. Det är svårt att klaga för mycket eftersom de kommer med det till dig när du ringer, men att grundservicen inte är kundorienterad behöver förbättras.

Läget är bra, sängen i rummet är bra, men inredningsstilen på hotellet är väldigt speciell, det finns bara ett ljus i hissen, det hela är väldigt mörkt och det finns en skrämmande... Behöver du dessutom rumsstädning ska du gå till receptionen och berätta för servicepersonalen. Rummet var dock inte ordentligt städat.När jag checkade ut upptäckte jag att kondomerna som den förra hyresgästen använde låg packade bredvid sängen... Jag bad servitören att städa rummet men hittade det inte.

Det finns bara en kinesisk reception som har en bra attityd och är villig att hjälpa till att lösa problemet.De flesta av de koreanska receptionerna är likgiltiga och ger ingen service alls! Det borde vara för lokala kunder. Det är inte vänligt mot kineser! Och tandborstar debiteras extra, vilket är lite knepigt!

Pros : near to subway Jongno3, restaurants, local nightlife drinking place Cons : staff lack of courtesy, impoliteness, unprofessional hotel staff, lack of hotel management experience. Hotel is in an alley. Hotel Building is near to each other, air circulation is not that good. Not convenient for those who wants to take a taxi, especially with luggages. Noisy place especially in night time, nightlife, drunk people are everywhere. No toothpaste and toothpaste. Broken Rubber Slippers in bedroom is not changeable not sure for how long.🥲 Very Limited breakfast of choice. High Price doesn't worth to the hotel rooms, amenities and services. You can find 4 or 5 stars hotels with better prices and qualities in myeongdong compared with Hotel The May Jongno.

Strategic hotel location, friendly staff and easy to access to train. but breakfas to simple..

this hotel is easy to find but when come to night, super noisy with many drunk people at street. u can see and heard many youngsters surrounding screaming, talking, laughing very loud even u in the room. this room have shower tab inside but useless and waste space. can't be use because water leak if put water in it. the chair leg is metal and floor is non carpet. so when u adjust the chair, u drag it, super noisy. so when up or down room drag the chair at midnight, u sure can heard clearly and disturb your sleep

Service was good. Check in was fast and friendly. They let us leave our luggage at the desk before check in. They called a fancy taxi for us when we checked out early in the morning to catch a train. The front desk is apparently 24 hours which is very convenient. Room was spacious but a little old. There were a few fruit flies or drain flies. There was a little bit of mould and discoloration in the shower. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows are perfect. The TV had a lot of shows available. Overall good stay and good value for the price.

Friendly and helpful. Having had surgery appreciated their American standard bidet. Good and healthy free breakfast.

We had an absolutely amazing time at. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. The only disappointing thing was that the pillows were very thick and firm. I would have liked softer ones. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back.

Great Location , near Jong no(3) ga station ,where a lot of street food and people for hang-out . So cool.

Room was clean, location was good. Room was not cleaned for days however after checking in and no towel replacements automatically given unless explicitly asked.

Honestly this hotel was really amazing the staff was very kind my room was very clean the bath was so great and shower they have Netflix and YouTube and really such a fun area to be in it’s a must stay I think the neg reviews are people being picky for someone that’s been in Korea 2 years this was a great place I will stay again

Staff very nice ,very helpful

The staff are not friendly and not supportive for tourists. Asked the hotel to call a cab to airport’s bus station, but the front staff refuse to help.
