We had a wonderful time here! All the staffs were so nice and helpful. The whole experience was just amazing. The room was beautiful and they had shuttle buses taking you to the front entrance and Myeongdong. It was our first time staying at Shilla and I would definitely stayed here again.

Hands down the best hotel in Seoul in terms of facilities and services! Location is very strategic and even they offer free transport and also shuttles on popular places In my opinion this hotel is really a great cultural experience for foreigners. I recommend to try their gym and also sauna. They provide jerseys and also luxury powder rooms To end, they also have the best breakfast

perfect place for couple. so cozy and fancy. we only have short stay cos i have connecting flights but next time ill stay longer.

Just the Best hotel in seoul! Very good customer service, a car will drop you and pick you up from the nearest subway station to the hotel. Buffet was good. I also tried the menu (very good pat thai) Tried the bar and the jazz band was extraordinary. Room was also clean and very quiet (extremely rare in Seoul)

If you have the budget, highly recommend visiting the Shilla in Seoul. The service was excellent and the staff is thoughtful and professional. Only nitpick is the location is not as convenient as some other hotels, but you may want to spend most of the time on property anyway (there is a connected shilla duty free if you are in a spending mood) Pro tip: their restaurants are often booked so be sure to book in advance. Check their pastry shop for limited time items. Check out their bingsu and parfait creations in the library.

Service at Shilla Seoul was impeccable - concierge, check in at front desk, breakfast, housekeeping and their attentiveness at departure all warm, friendly and great attention to details. We were allocated a great room with view of the mountains, Beds were very comfortable and we ordered the tempura pillow from the pillow menu. Breakfast buffet was a great spread. Shilla feels like a sanctuary in hectic Seoul and it was always a pleasure to be back. Highly recommended :)

My repeated choice of comfort luxury stay in Seoul. Although location is not as convenient as some 5* that located nearby the shopping areas, but the frequent shuttle bus service to Metro and MyeongDong etc are very convenient. Hotel provides good quality bed linen, towels, amenities by Molton Brown. Staff speak fluent English, service standard is one of the best among the 5* hotels.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Although the room was slightly smaller than we anticipated, the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. We would be thrilled to stay with them again. The Lounge offers a variety of food and drinks! While the selection is fantastic, it doesn't include any Korean dishes. We recommend making a reservation at one of the lovely Korean restaurants in the hotel.

My experience was disappointing for several reasons: 1. Poor soundproofing – I could hear noises from neighboring rooms and the hallway throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. 2. Toilet issues – The toilet was broken and couldn’t flush, which was very inconvenient. 3. Housekeeping hygiene – I witnessed a housekeeper using her bare hands to collect garbage and then rearrange all the bedding items. I’m not sure if my skin allergies were caused by this, but it was concerning. 4. Lack of compensation – Despite these issues, I only received an apology written on a piece of paper, with no compensation or proper resolution offered.

It’s a must go for a top tier local hotel chain, definitely with some history, location is ok, services is great, can’t complain. Close to duty free, great for shopping

The Shilla Hotel Seoul service is among the best in the world. Sauna is great. I am most impressed with even small gestures like welcome you back to the hotel or send you all the way to the airport limousine stop with great smile.
