A Hotel Bugis

The hotel I am currently staying at has a very clean room, located in the heart of Singapore, very convenient to travel anywhere, there is both the MRT and even buses, very convenient, the room is clean and spacious.

The hygiene is more on downside of the average same level of hotels in Singapore. Beware of cash deposit of SGD 50 (they accept cash only at reception), i refused to receive a torn banknote from them. Bugis is excellent location to everywhere.

!!pictures are from the first room I got!! I arrived to the hotel at 2 am, directly from the airport. Check in was quick and efficient. I went to my room and when i reached my floor i saw that all the corridor was so stained. and than when i got to my room i got really shocked! Everything was so dirty and old! The bed sheets were stained with yellow marks, and amount of dusk that was on the curtains was absolutely unreal, it seems like they didnt clean the curtains since they opened the hotel. The white transparent curtain became grey color cause of the amount of dust. I told the lady at the reception that no way im going to stay in this room, and its not an option for me. She immediately came and saw the room, it seems that she was surprised to see it too (dont know if she was acting or not), but she offered me to move to another room. She had 2 rooms available so she got me to see the rooms and let me choose which one i want. The other rooms were much better than the one i got. So i picked one and stayed there for the night, and she told me that she is really sorry for the inconvenience and tomorrow she will upgrade my room and move me to another one. I must say that the service is very good! This indian lady was very kind and helpful. Next day i got the other room, it was perfect (i didnt take photos of it!), but the room service is not that good. Every day i was missing something in the room - one day didnt have toilet paper, one day no coffee, another day the bed sheets wasn’t replaced. Location is great! I literally walked everywhere by foot! In conclusion, if you dont have high expectations so this hotel it great. If you have problems with cleanliness and room service so i dont know if i would have recommended it.

cheap small hotel, the location is also strategic. with family open 2 rooms stay 5 nights, the room still needs to be improved, the bathroom must be clean, the sink is clogged and there are many small insects, and the position of the shower gel must be there, the AC control must be fixed, every time you want to increase the temperature you have to ask the reception for help, it's very troublesome.

Would not stay at this hotel again. The rooms are really dirty. The walls are cracked and there is mould in the bathroom. The rooms are NOT sound proof at all and can hear EVERYTHING. Was woken up from my sleep due to cleaners and noises from the outside. I would not recommend for light sleepers. When the staff say they will come up to your room to provide service, dont believe them as they will not. I had to go down to reception to get her. The indian lady has an attitude. There is no pool, gym or laundry. 

Located near mrt station and restaurants, convenient for us to go everywhere. Good cleanliness and facilities inside the room. However, hotel need to improve their soundproofing. Sometimes will hear sounds from other rooms and corridor.
