Victoria Hotel a NuVe Group Collection

I came back to book this hotel because I thoroughly enjoyed my stay last year. Last year I booked a single room and it was absolutely fantastic and had a good price-to-performance. But this year, I went for a superior double room as I came with my mom this time, and the room really disappointed me. It was almost similar size, really tight for 2 people and had to pay a much higher price than before. The facilities in the room are very basic, last time there was a proper light above the dressing table. This time, there was no light but instead they provided a table lamp. But it was a lamp that has a 2-pin cable plug, in a country where they use 3-pin sockets. I asked the staff for assistance, the staff who came to our room just forced that 2-pin plug into the 3-pin socket and gone. I think it was a very poor service. But bad things aside, I think I really enjoyed this hotel as in its convenience and location. I love that it is in a location where it is within walking distance to major tourist attractions, landmarks, and MRT station. I have always loved the fact that they have 7-Eleven and Currency Exchange on the ground floor as well. Overall, the location is fantastic, they just have to level up their game in service and facilities. Another NuVe hotel in the similar price range did fantastic in that area. So I'm wishing the best for you Victoria Hotel. 

Overall good stay. Hotel is situated above 7 eleven and a kebab shop so may not have the best ‘hotel vibe’. Staff made good effort to cater of our special event as it is our anniversary staycay. First room had some unfinished housekeeping which the staff were apologetic.

I was searching for an ideal hotel stay for just one night. It is not far from Bugis MRT station and is within a short walking distance. The single room was spacious enough for me. I basked in the comfort where I was able to spend my time in peace and quietness. The hotel does provide all toiletries including disposable slippers and a free mini-bar in the room too. As it has air-conditioning, I had a good sleep all night long. It was definitely an enjoyable stay. Will certainly come back again but with an upgraded room on the next stakeout. Staff is friendly and courteous too.. Great service💯.😁👍😎!
