Central hotel, albeit basic. Was fine up until the last night when a putrid smell woke us up. There was no window in the room so unsure if there's a drainage problem or something else

Used to be Fragrance Bugis hotel, Ibis cleaned up the place good. I stayed once when it was still Fragrance so I know the differences. Room is still small thou but a lot cleaner. Water pressure for the shower is on point, however still the lack of jet shower/bidet for clean up even though majority of tourists in Singapore are Indonesians. Ibis should take note on this, could be their game changer point by installing that.

Formerly known as Fragrance Hotel, it underwent acquisition by the Accor Group. Despite the change, there has been minimal improvement in terms of service, facilities, and interior. The cost remains relatively high for the limited space and amenities offered.

This was a good and affordable hotel for a solo traveler. Big enough bed and enough amenities to make you feel comfortable.
The only thing was you could hear hallway noise from others.
Also surprise with how clean everything was and reception was very friendly

Staff: Very welcoming, polite, and helpful.
Room: Comfortable bed, clean, and great air-conditioning.
Amenities: A small cosy lobby, handicapped friendly, great location.
Good Stuff
- 3mins walk to Bugis train station, 9 mins walk to City Hall train station.
- There's a convenient store beside the hotel, 7-11.
- Hotel situated almost at the center of Singapore.
- Alot of malls nearby, Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Bugis Street, Suntec City, Raffles City, Funan.
- 5mins walk to pickup point for bus to Kuala Lumpur, Tan Quee Lan Street.
- WiFi connection was smooth.
Bad Stuff
- After using the shower heater, the room will create a condensation on the mirror and wall.
- Toilet doesn't have a bidet.
- Poor room ventilation.
- Poor outlet socket, unable to use universal adapter.
- Very slow charging USB ports.
