"Excellent stay. Stayed there before alone and now returned with a spouse. Location is very central in gangnam. Hotel itself is well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast is more than enough for any taste or cultural preference. The only downside, lobby is always empty, so is the restaurant and bat at the lobby."

"Luxurious room that overlooked Yongsan and Seoul Tower. Clean and stylish. Spacious bathroom with bathtub. Great restaurants in the hotel, including a delicious breakfast buffet and 2-star La Yeon! Our room included access to the outdoor pool but we preferred to swim in the indoor pool as the weather was already chilly in late October. Location was a little bit away from Myeongdong and other tourist attractions, but it wasn’t far by metro or taxi. The airport limo bus from Incheon airport has a drop off on the main road right outside the hotel."

"The Grand Walkerhill Hotel was so amazing! At the level and caliber of the hotel, it was a simple and grand hotel. Room itself was clean and loved the counter space where I sat to work and drink my coffee. Pressure of the shower was amazing!"

"We stayed with my friend in October. Good location, near the mall, not far from Hangang. Excellent service, we asked for higher floor and get 36 which was really cool view to Seoul and Namsan Tower. Room was great, we ordered with twin beds, there also were everything for comfort stay. During the cleaning sometimes we didn’t get coffee capsules, but it’s okay. There was a separate entrance which also was convenient for going straight to elevator."

"Overall, a nice experience and offered good value for money. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing with a nice design throughout, and everything felt clean and well-maintained. The main drawback for me was the location. While technically in the city center, the hotel is situated uphill, which made the walk to and from the nearest subway station, Dongguk University Station, a bit tiring. It's not a severe issue, but if you plan on relying on the subway and walking a lot, be prepared for a minor climb. Additionally, there isn't much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel in terms of shops or restaurants, so you'll need to venture out for meals and entertainment. The hotel boasts two swimming pools, which is great, but it's important to note that a standard hotel guest only receive free access to the indoor swimming pool. Access to the other pool and the sauna facilities is an additional charge, which was a little disappointing. On a very positive note, the gym facility is excellent. I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast as it was not included with my room reservation. I inquired at the reception, and the price was quite high—around KRW 64,000 (USD 45) per guest—which I felt was rather expensive for a single meal. The most significant issue affecting my comfort was the poor soundproofing. I could clearly hear guests talking next door, and conversations from people walking in the hallway were also distinctly audible. This definitely detracted from the peace and quiet one hopes for in a hotel room, especially at night."

"The hotel is very nice with a great gym and pool for swimming. The location is pretty remote and it takes you 30 min by foot to next subway station. There is an airport shuttle bus, where you also can reach the subway but this bus only operates until 3pm which is pretty early ending. The hotel has several restaurants, serving different styles of food, but it’s pretty expensive. The room interior is a bit aged already with lots of scars, so I don’t think it’s worth the equivalent of 200 dollar per night. But I liked that the room had a washing machine!"
