It's a nice place, the breakfast is very good, but the rooms are way too small.

I absolutely *loved* our stay here. From the rooftop onsen, with a fabulous views across Tokyo, to the lovely little extras (like the free ice-cream after the onsen, and 10pm treats). The entrance and lobby are just beautiful, a calm oasis after the madness of Tokyo. The location is perfect - far enough away from the busiest streets to be quiet at night, but close enough to be in the thick of things. Our road had a wonderful izakaya, a fantastic ramen place, and a gem of a breakfast cafe on it, as well as the obligatory 7-elevens, and was very close to the Shinjuku Gyoen National Gardens. Our room was tiny, but we knew this making the booking - I would advise paying close attention to the room size, so that you know what you're getting when you make the booking. There are much larger rooms available, for a higher price. The difference in room size could make a big difference to your stay, if you have a lot of luggage (which we didn't). I will absolutely stay here again, next time I'm in Tokyo.

Here's a short review: "Our stay at Hotel Onsen Yuen Shinjuku was a mixed bag. On the downside, the room was compact with limited luggage space and not enough clothing racks. The fridge in our room (704) didn't cool well, and amenities like facial wash and makeup remover were only available in the public onsen area. Towels were limited to onsen use only. The blinds were a bit tricky to navigate, and the pillows lacked support. We also weren't informed about complimentary night snacks during check-in. On the plus side, the onsen pool view was stunning and super relaxing after a long day of walking. Enjoying ice cream while taking in Tokyo's skyline was a lovely touch. The staff were helpful, bringing our luggage to the room even when we arrived late. Overall, despite some drawbacks, we had a wonderful stay and appreciated the unique onsen experience 🙏"

Beautiful hotel.  Great location in Shinjuku.

Hotel was nice and pretty . Love the onsen . Maybe just not that convenient for older people . They might need to walk quite a distance to the station. .

Staff were super friendly, went out of their way to try help me book tickets when I couldn't, enjoyed the onsen, clean and tidy The room was small but ok for single Cleaning was excellent daily 7/11 out front and a 10 min walk to everything including shinjuku station

The hotel is new and design is good. However, the room is relatively small

Loved our stay here, very nice hotel and felt very tranquil compared to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Enjoyed the onsen. Only feedback would be to make the overall temperature slightly cooler as it got quite humid and hot at night!

Friendly and professional staff. Onsen is relaxing with a nice view. You can enjoy free ice-bar in the public area after using the Onsen. Room is tiny but comfy! I love the lighting and design of the room. Amazing Shinjuku day & night view from the room! If you’re travelling with many luggages, may not be suitable for you since room is not spacious and location is not close to subway station. Enjoy this hotel so much and definitely will come again.

Abit too far from station. Should provide local transport to mrt and pls allow free late check out. 11am is too early

Nice place to stay with free onsen, plus ice cream. However, it is a bit far from the Shinjuku station (15 mins walking).
