This is our second stay of over a week at this park in our van on a powered site. The location and facilities make this a great park for those longer stays or simply overnight. It is one of, if not the best park we have stayed in and sets the standard against which all parks should be judged. From the friendly staff on check-in to the well maintained grounds and facilities it meets all expectations and more. And yes I even caught fish.

This park is well maintained , lovely lawns and gardens . Top class facilities, showers always hot and plenty of washing machines/ dryers. Great location to utilise the walkways along the Murray River or not too far to walk up town .large easy to access van sites.

While the park itself is lovely, the management are less so. There was constant nit-picking of a range of guests, making it feel less like a holiday as you were constantly wondering what they'd tell someone off for next! We won't be staying again under that management, and having mentioned the issues to locals, it seems like a common complaint. I'm surprised the reviews don't reflect this.

We stayed a couple of nights in a beautiful 2 bedroom cabin a stones throw from the Murray River - such a comfortable cabin with all mod-cons. The park itself was immaculate, as was our cabin and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly! Such magnificent spot by the river and only a 10 minute walk into Waikerie itself. Thoroughly recommended!

Beautiful well tended park. We stayed for a week in the river view cabins. They overlook the river. Gorgeous views with amazing sun rise and sun shines directly into the cabin all morning. Cabin very clean with large comfy couch. Friendly staff.

This a delightful and well maintained park with easy access to the river and town facilities. The park facilities are first class and the sites are large and easy to enter. The “grass mat” for the awning/annex is a great bonus. Would highly recommend for short or long stay.

This is the best caravan park I’ve stayed in for a while, the amenities you could eat off the the floor and the bbq and camp kitchen are kept nice and clean, the gardens are beautiful, it’s pet friendly, the owners are ever so friendly and inviting and the surrounding area is great I’ll be definitely coming back

We came up because I won the $200 river revival voucher. Expectations were low as Wakerie wasn’t high on my radar. I’m pleased to say Wakerie and the caravan park far exceeded our expectations. We hired one of the 3-bedroom luxury river front cabins. They were well equipped and clean. Spacious bedrooms, seperate toilet, large shower. Only a couple of things that marred our enjoyment slightly. Even though the cabins were very new there was mould in the bathroom and a lot of dead flys in the kitchen window tracks. Fix those and I’d give you five stars. The caravan park looks amazing. It featured a couple of disabled cabins and one pet friendly cabin. It has a pool and playground. Wakerie is certainly on our radar now!

Clean and modern facilities ,great place for kids with added things like jumping pillow etc . Good size vs. sites with easy access in and out. Reasonably close to the Main Street or if you like a walk river is nearby . Helpful and friendly staff
