Celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary at the Queen’s Hotel. Situated in a great place close to bars, restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and they serve a good cold beer and wine at the bar!

Our room was noisy from outside vans delivering as we had the window open for some fresh air. No hot water at peak times. The breakfast was great, and the staff friendly. We will go again as it's central to everything

A lovely stay again at the Queens Hotel, was even able to check in early as our room was ready. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming.

The need to book slot for breakfast is inconvenient to quest who has your or train to catch and could not eat in time especially if it is fully booked by a tour group. Also earliest breakfast slot at 7.15 am is too late, other repueale hotel has breakfast as early as 6 am.

Luggage storage is simply a public corner with no security at all. My luggage put there before check-in had someone tried to open it. Would be good stay except for this. Nice breakfast.

With same amount of money spent , there are more choice and better quality hotel to be chooses. The reception ladies are nice,however the quality of breakfast is not great.

My family and I visited York during the Easter holidays. We stayed the hotels for 3 nights and so far we were satisfied with the accommodation. The family room is quite spacious for the four of us, clean and tidy. The location is excellent and close to the river. Friendly staff as well. The only thing to be disappointing is that the two single beds are rather small for teenagers ／young adults. Hope you find the information helpful.
