We absolutely loved our stay at Il Nuovo Gabbiano. The location is fantastic, right next to the port and in the centre of everything. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away! The view from the balcony was incredible with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Despite it being right next to the port, noise was minimal. Breakfast was extra at €14pp each day however we chose to buy juice and pastries from the nearby supermarket to have out on the balcony every morning. The room was fairly big and contained a mini bar (only containing bottles of water) and coffee/tea making facilities. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. There’s no parking, however we parked in the port across the road for €6 per day. We came later in the day so we managed to find a spot, it gets quite packed early morning. The hotel restaurant does great food, I would recommend the Sardinian ravioli with potatoes and cheese!

Muy buena ubicación, a solo 5 minutos andando de la zona más céntrica.
Habitaciones cómodas, y personal amable
Nuestro vuelo salia tarde y nos guardaron las maletas todo el día e incluso nos dejaron pegarnos una ducha en la zona de spa.

Отель хороший, автобусные остановки не очень далеко. До центра пляжа Поетто можно дойти за 15 минут, а до крайней западной части на автобусе 30 минут с учетом ожидания автобуса. Из минусов: До Кальяри и обратно не всегда удобно добираться вечерами, особенно обратите внимание, если нужно рано утром в аэропорт и решили на общественном транспорте добираться.

Trato excelente, todas las comodidades y con llave digital( maravilloso no estar pendiente de una llave)
Creo que nos atendió Martina en el check-in ; pendiente de nosotros en todo momento y para cualquier duda, problema siempre está disponible.

La ubicación del hotel es hermosa, exactamente frente a la playa. Al comienzo de la playa poetto.
A 150 metros se encuentra la parada de bus donde pasan los colectivos que te dejan en el centro en 15 minutos. El ambiente es precioso.
El hotel hermoso, limpio y prolijo. La habitación bellísima y con un amplio balcón.
El hotel cuenta con bicicletas que se pueden tomar gratuitamente y recorrer con ellas lungomare es una actividad imperdible!

GGästanvändareAVOID THIS PROPERTY! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE OWNERS. The room itself was just ok but no WIFI in the bedroom - it only worked in the entranceway which was a big nuisance. The hosts are horrible and try to scam you. After we checked out I realised I had left something in the room but was unable to get back in as we had put the keys in the drop box already. I waited outside the main apartment entrance whilst I got in contact with the hosts who were going to send a housekeeper out, but while I was waiting a guest from one of the other bedrooms arrived so I was able to follow them into the apartment, where I was then able to access our room as I had left it unlocked when we checked out and was able to retrieve my items. A couple of hours later I received a very rude email from the hosts accusing me of forcing the door open and damaging the lock, stating that I will be liable for repair costs. Considering they have many CCTV cameras within in the apartment entranceway you'd think they would review the camera footage before rudely accusing a guest. Had they actually bothered to look at the footage they would have seen that all I did was follow someone (who had keys) into the apartment and then open our unlocked bedroom door - there was absolutely no forcing or damaging of the door. I don't know how they think they could get away with trying to scam someone like this when there is clear evidence that it did not happen, as if someone would pay for damages they did not cause. It's laughable that they would even think they could get away with that. I was very restrained in my reponse to them and kindly informed them that, as I had previously mentioned, all I did was follow someone into the apartment and opened our unlocked door, but surprise surprise they ignored me and didn't bother to respond any further - absolutely no apology from them which was unbelievable. Stay here at your own risk - there are much nicer properties around, I wouldn't recommend giving these people a cent of your money.

GGästanvändareYou get what you pay for. Has all the basics, no frills. Staff friendly and assisted with my case as there is no lift.
TV remote was temperamental, reported this and was told I would be getting a replacement the next day, no replacement forthcoming but wasn’t a big deal as only Italian channels.
Coffee machine in the room was pre-filled with water but coffee pods have to be purchased separately.
The wash basin had cracks, the shower was initially hit but soon went quite cool almost cold. The white bath towel had marks on it!
The double bed was made up from 2 single mattresses which were not adjoined therefore, mid sleep the two parted company by some 6 inches .The street is reasonably quiet evening time however, early morning sees the nearby businesses empty the previous evening empty bottles into the bin directly positioned below my room. There is also a school nearby where the little ones gather waiting for the doors to open, the excited chatter didn’t bother me but it might some people.
Great location for good shops/restaurants/cafes, train and buses and easy walk to the beautiful Marina.

The location is very convenient—just a 7-minute walk to the bus station, and there’s a supermarket only a few meters away, which made things really easy. The room was clean, spacious, and included a balcony, which was a nice touch. The shower was also excellent, with good water pressure and temperature control.
What really stood out was the staff—they were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay.

LLinda KassimThe hotel is located in the centre of Cagliari.Very close to restaurants, bars and also short walking distance. Good customer service..Overall,I love the antique interior design.. especially the lift and the room decorations.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the front desk for giving his best service due to our early departure.He told us he could provide us early breakfast as we need to leave the hotel by 6 in the morning. Likewise,the breakfast was served right in front of our room. Highly recommended!!!Good service!!!

AAnonymous2600I really liked this hotel! It's walking distance from the train station and the marina and lies within the historical city centre. The staff was really friendly and accomodating. The room was very clean and especially the bathroom, thanks to the cleaning lady! She does an amazing job. The bed and pillows were comfortable. In short, this hotel was great. Breakfast was also decent. I can recommend!

The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to local restaurants and shops. Breakfast was nice, always a good selection and fresh coffee. And the character of the building makes it all better, such a unique hotel and a great experience!

MMaxenceLAmazing location in Olbia old town, closed to Piazza Regina Margherita. Very vibrant with lots of bars around and music on Saturday night! Lovely place, with all the necessities. Nice coffee machine to have an espresso in the morning. Very clean! Owner was very helpful and responding on WhatsApp, he came also to fix a little thing in the bath very fast. I recommend! I was sad to stay only 1 day!

PPatrik TomanovicWell we have not stayed st this accommodation. During to the illness we needed to return home earlier. We have asked accommodation for some compromise solution. They totally stopped to talk to us and even blocked any communication channel. This kind of behavior is at least nothuman and not friendly at all. So consider this when booking. I would ignore this kind of people in the future.
