Zero soundproofing, it's as if you're outside. The view was good and the room had great bedding, bathroom and shower. The view is impressive but I wouldn't stay there again, it's impossible to rest.

I would recommend this place to everyone. It's very convenient for traveling to various tourist attractions. Close to restaurants, convenience stores, and souvenir shops. The hotel service is excellent. I highly recommend everyone to stay here. Det har gått nästan en månad sedan jag återvände till Taiwan, men jag kände ändå att jag var tvungen att skriva en recension för att fira tillfället. Redan innan jag checkade in kunde jag känna vandrarhemmets omtänksamhet. De ringde personligen för att bekräfta att jag inte hade bokat fel rum och varnade mig till och med vänligt för den fruktade trafiken i Chongqing under första maj-helgen. Och jag förstod verkligen innebörden av det från det ögonblick jag klev av höghastighetståget. Det som borde ha varit en halvtimmes resa förvandlades till över en timmes trafikstockningar. Jag trodde först att incheckningen skulle vara en snabb tiominutersprocess, och jag såg fram emot att utforska, men ägarna var otroligt gästvänliga från det ögonblick jag anlände, pratade med mig och visade mig noggrant runt i rummet, badrummet, de gemensamma utrymmena, kylskåpet och till och med takträdgården. Sedan bjöd de in mig att sitta ner och delade med sig av sin hemgjorda reseguide. En halvtimme gick, men jag kände inte att jag slösade någon tid; istället blev jag road av ägarnas rättframma och bedårande personlighet. Detta vandrarhem förkroppsligade perfekt Sichuan-folkets varma gästfrihet, och det är det mest minnesvärda stället jag har bott på under mina ensamresor. Tyvärr stannade jag bara i Chongqing i två och en halv dag, och resplanen var för stressad, så jag hann inte prata ordentligt med dem. Chefen~ Jag är tjejen som hittade mitt boende genom att ständigt fråga efter vägen och gå vilse. Jag kommer definitivt att komma tillbaka till den här bergsstaden för ett äventyr igen om jag får chansen!

The view of this room was 10/10. And its nicely located near the most important sightings of Chongqing. Also, the building has an entrance where you can arrive in the subway station. Comunication with the owner needed use of google translator, but she was really kind and friendly. It was also possible to receive taobao packages. They are stored in a room in the plaza inside the building near the subway entrance Room had a kitchen, but no microwave and all kitchenware was missing. Maybe i! was important to ask the owner for these itens, but we didn't bother as all other things were perfect. We would really stay here again.

Let me start by saying, the front desk team was incredible! So kind and helpful! They helped me with my taobao parcels, even helped to pick up one and return too, I’ll never forget their kindness, incredible staff! The hotel is placed in a building, where other hotels are based too. So when you see multiple hotels with same address, it’s cuz they are all in one building. The first room I got, the washing machine there wasn’t working unfortunately but the lady in the front desk quickly got me another room (which was also supposed to have a washing machine but it didn’t lol) but I loved the view and accepted the room nonetheless haha it was massive! Communications take place over WeChat. If you need daily cleaning, just message them by 11am (I think). They’d provide two bottles of water each day and replaced towels and other amenities (toothbrush and paste, comb, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, detergent) if necessary, if cleaning requested. Overall, I found the rooms sufficiently clean, and bed was comfortable, AC and water temperature all good. I’d say the main downside for me was the toilet, the smart toilet with bidet wasn’t working unfortunately 😣 but flushing was working “manually”. There’s a huge bathtub in the room, didn’t use it personally but if you fancy a bath with a view, you got one. The actual wet shower space was a bit old too but not too off putting. I think a few renovations will do good to the room. There’s a convenience store right outside. Also, to any Muslim considering this place, I’d say it’s a very ideal location for halal food options! Literally 15mins walk away (tho beware of the stairs but it’s Chongqing so that’s expected haha). There are a ton of halal food restaurants (hotpot, bbq, just noodles). There are even couple of stores selling halal snacks. Pro-tip: look for the words 清真 Qīngzhēn - which basically indicates halal. In general, the hotel is very close proximity to many famous spots, the 18stairs/shibati was just next to the restaurants. The well monument is literally opposite the building, looks pretty cool. I pretty much walked everywhere - 20/25mins to go honggya cave, jifangbei pedestrian street on foot. Obviously, public transportation is available and it’s very convenient and affordable. The metro stations are literally 8/10mins away, might seem a lot but genuinely it isn’t that much. Loved my stay there and will absolutely stay there again if I visit! Booked this hotel for the loft room type which has only 1 unit. Note that there are only 14 rooms across 2 floors located in a commercial building. Seems like it is very common in cq to have such hotels which are occupying floors in a building. The room has a great view of Jiefangbei and you can see the monument from the room. Pls note that the location of the room is just next to the entrance which i didn't like (personal preference) but it didn't affect me in terms of noise. Smart system, tv projector The room is using a smart system which you can control through voice. However this proved to be a problem for me instead as everytime I returned and put in the key card, the same settings operate e.g. music automatically plays and the announcement starts and I have to ask it to stop playing the music. The lighting is also preset with hindered the brightness of the projector. Note that there is no tv, only a projector with iqiyi inbuilt so there are no tv channels and most of the shows require a subscription to play. I wasn't able to adjust the lights according to what I want. So if I wanted a very clear resolution, I had to turn off all lights. Bathroom The toilet seat was automatic with bidet. As it is automated, you have to press a button to open the seat cover everytime you want to use. If you use the disposable seat cover, it cannot detect you and halfway using the toilet, the seat keeps coming down to close as it closes automatically. The position of the handheld shower is also very low. I'm 1.68m tall which was the perfect height but anyone taller will hit the shower. One very important point to note is also that the hotel only uses disposable towels to my dismay. They do not have regular towels. If I had known I wouldn't have booked this hotel. I'm not sure if this is a common thing in cq. There are also no hooks in the bathroom and the sink is outside the bathroom. During my stay it rained a bit so the area just beside the bed had a pool of water which likely came from a leak in the building. For this room, the electronic curtains were also unable to cover the room totally due to the stairs going up to the bed. Aircon Due to the size of the room, I felt that the ac wasn't strong enough to cool the room totally. In conclusion, the hotel has a great location and good service but if I had known the above, I would hv chosen another regular hotel with tv, regular towels etc. I wanted to check out after 1 night but didn't as it was just simply too troublesome and my booking was non refundable.

In front of Metro.It is situated close to major attractions, shopping areas, restaurants, and public transportation, making it very easy to explore the city. The surrounding area is vibrant yet safe, offering stunning city views, especially at night when the skyline lights up beautifully. Whether you are visiting for leisure, family vacation, or business purposes, the location provides excellent accessibility. The room exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The bed was extremely comfortable, with high-quality linens and pillows that ensured a restful sleep every night. Cleanliness was impeccable — every corner of the room, including the bathroom, was spotless and well maintained. The housekeeping team did a remarkable job of keeping the room fresh, tidy, and well stocked with amenities throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the room. The large windows allowed natural light to fill the space during the day, while at night, the panoramic city view created a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Safety and security at the hotel were also excellent. The hotel maintained strong security measures, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay. This is especially important for travelers visiting the city for the first time. Overall, this hotel delivers outstanding service, excellent facilities, and superb comfort. The combination of strategic location, beautiful views, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service makes it one of the best accommodation choices in Chongqing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, and I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

I had a good stay at Sonderia! I booked a twin room as a solo traveler. The area is close to Wenshu Monastery and takes 10mins to the train station Line 1 but doesn’t feel that far. Bus stops are just in front of the hostel too. The bar area is a great spot to chill at night and meet other tourists. Nicole at the reception was sooo nice and accommodating!! I was allowed to check out late (2pm instead of 12nn) and she even let me stay at the couch area at the bar so I can rest for an extra hour before my flight. She even bothered to lend me a comforter!! Thank you!! 🤍

The location and view was amazing! Loved the room, the only thing to take notice of - I was there during chinese new year, so it was a bit noisy till around 12 PM. All in all, I would definitely recommend it though! It was a stunning room and the location was perfect, directly by a train station and with lots of food stalls on the road! Just look at the photos I made (sadly you can't attach videos here, so I just made some screenshots from the video I took) and judge for yourself - I really enjoyed my time there. 😊

The location is great! It’s an apartment complex with many amenities including refrigerator, air conditioning, kettle, and room service daily to replenish the reusable items. However, the bed base needs adjusting as the mattress does not quite fit in it so often times you may hurt your knees and legs when coming out of bed. The refrigerator wasn’t cleaned and the freezer had water settled in it. The bathroom curtains need to be changed and the bathroom walls cleaned throughly. The use of the microwave is restricted to when the main office on the floor your on is open. However, good stay, nice experience that would have been better if the few amenities were cleaned properly. Lovely view and the set up is good. TV in the unit didn’t quite work and the warm water control wasn’t very accurate (gave hot boiling water when the tap was set to the center).
