Hotell med 2-stjärniga i Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Valle Escondido has a great view over the valley and good nature trains where you can spot animals and birds in their environment. The staff are very welcoming and helpful with nothing being too much bother. The restaurant serves home town produce however the menu dos not vary between lunch and dinner so staying there for a few days and eating at this restaurant can become repetitive/limited choices. Whilst nature takes and eco ethos takes front stage there are a few little things that could be improved to ale their offering better: - more comfortable seating areas - this would help guests relax and be bake to sit comfortably during days when it’s raining. There’s little spaces for this at present. - vary the menu between lunch and dinner - possibly add a swimming pool / jacuzzi to increase relaxation or enhance luxury - rooms above the gues shop and by the Landry could do with some modernising. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at and the above enhancements could make it excellent. The location is quiet (nature is the only thing making noises!) and it’s easy to get a taxi ordered into town costing some USD 6. If asking the reception to organise the cloud forest tour please note this does not include pick up from hotel and a taxi there will likely cost USD 20). Hotel staff were amazing. Hotel muy bien situado justo a la entrada del parque Manuel Antonio (escasos 100m). Puedes disfrutar de las instalaciones del hotel el faro, lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún mejor. Los empleados del hotel son muy atentos y amables

Cabinas Jacomar is a budget-friendly place located right in the heart of Jacó, just a short walk from the beach. The rooms are basic but clean, offering essentials like air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The staff are friendly and helpful, making guests feel welcome. Its central location is convenient for exploring Jacó’s shops, restaurants, and nightlife. However, due to this, noise can be an issue, especially for light sleepers. Some rooms may have limited amenities such as inconsistent hot water. Overall, Cabinas Jacomar is a practical choice for travelers who want affordable, no-frills accommodation close to the beach and town center.

Jaco really isn’t for families anymore. The hotel shows a picture that it is next to an empty plot: Well that is a 20 story building now. Some AC units are too old, making very loud vibrations. We had 2 cockroaches in the room despite closed windows. If you need to be in Jaco, check out the hotel on the other side of the creek. If you have a choice, drive a couple more kilometres to a nicer village.

We (couple) stayed 3 nights at the Coffee Roaster Café and Hotel and had a great time. The hotel ist well designed, beds were comfy and the included breakfast was delicious. The available parking came handy too. The crew was super friendly, especially Lucía and Gabriel. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Top rating and highly recommended.

We stayed in room Capuchino with great panoramic views. Very quiet location. Next door you can take El Trapiche Tour, if you have in interest in local coffee, chocolate and sugar production.

The hotel keeper makes it a very good place to stay.  The breakfast is good.  The house is spacious.  The service is great.  Appreciated very much.

Platsen är utmärkt (mycket nära Marina Balen s nationalpark). De anlände vid 22:00, vid det andningsmöte personalen som inte kände till rummen på hotellet (först steg de till andra våningen, sedan gick de ner, personalen var tydligen förlorad, men det var inte skrämmande). Det finns ingen te och kylskåp i rummen, men det finns ett gemensamt rum med allt som behövs, men tillståndet i detta rum lämnar för att önska det bästa (smutsiga, rena dåliga, spår från att laga mat av andra besökare). Två ingångar till rummet, under dörren finns det stora luckor, vi har blivit ägare till två stora lopp som kör in i rummet under dessa luckor.Rökning är förbjuden på territoriet, som det är överallt i Costa Rica. Poolen är i normalt tillstånd, vattnet är rent.Frukost är mycket läckra.Mycket lång och hög musik spelas i restaurangen den 24 december, förhindrade vila.
