Stayed at Pan Pacific Suzhou and had a really pleasant experience overall. The room was very spacious and comfortable, which made the stay extra relaxing. One of the highlights was the perks that come with being an in-house guest—there are quite a number of privileges that make the stay feel more worthwhile and enjoyable.
The hotel itself has a beautiful, serene atmosphere, perfect for a quiet getaway while still being in the city.
If there’s one downside, it would be the location in terms of convenience to public transport. Although it’s mentioned to be near train stations, the walk to the nearest ones is actually a bit further than expected, especially if you’re carrying luggage or travelling in the heat.
Also, for older guests, it may be a good idea to request a room closer to the main lobby, as the property is quite large and distances within the hotel can be a bit of a walk.
Overall, still a lovely stay and would recommend for those who value space, comfort, and a more tranquil environment.

We had a very pleasant stay, and the location truly couldn’t be better. Everything was perfect. The room was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower facilities, fully meeting the high standards expected from an IHG hotel. The terrace offers a stunning panoramic view overlooking the entire city and the subway station is just a few steps away, making transportation extremely convenient.
Special thanks to 小谢 for her outstanding assistance throughout our stay, as well as to the gentleman who kindly guided us during breakfast in the executive lounge.

Our stay was amazing! Carrie and Labelle supported me all the time and did a great job helping to surprise my husband for his birthday! They decorated the room very early in the morning and even the room was cleaned up again on our check-out day! This small things matter, and it is a great attitude from the hotel and its management when the employees are willing to do extra for customers comfort! The breakfast was amazing and the lounge also. Great view to the Jinji lake and the Gate of Orient. Kids club is well equipped. We loved Crown Plaza and will come back again.

Must like~~The enthusiastic service of the ladies has conquered me. I check in quickly and have a habit of booking a standard room. I like to have an extra bed for clothes, which is spacious enough. The TV, air conditioning, lighting, and curtains can all be intelligently controlled. The bathroom shower and bathroom are separate and spacious, larger than previous bookings. I must recommend 100 points

Travelled as a family of 9.
Room was very comfortable so it was perfect after a long day out exploring Nanjing.
Staff were all very helpful and flexible with our requests in our reservation.
Breakfast was great. We were allowed to play boardgames (we brought it with us) in common lounge area.
We will definitely return if we visit again. Highly recommended.

Yangzhou State Guesthouse is located within a sprawling area where many of the facilities are within walking distance. It is like staying in a holiday resort. You can either walk to the different facilities or take the buggy provided.
The Slender West Lake (瘦西湖） is just beside the Guesthouse and is definitely worth a visit both during the day and in the evening.
A bit too hot to visit in the summer, but it will be nice during spring and/or autumn.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is located right in the city center, making it very convenient to get around. There is a shopping mall directly connected to the hotel, so finding food and dining options was very easy.
The hotel is very family-friendly. We stayed on the top floor, and the view was absolutely amazing — we could see both the sea and the mountains. Our child loved it so much. However, for guests who are afraid of heights like my husband, this might not be the best choice, as it is probably the tallest building in the city.
Although the hotel looks like it has been open for many years from the outside, the interior still feels modern, clean, and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are very convenient. Breakfast offered a good variety of international options.
Overall, we had a great experience and were very impressed with our stay.

After long journey , I could sleep very very well in the Sofitel in Lianyuangang. The front was very kindly and gentle in all the aspect.
Location was great with amazing breakfast, also just hotel downstairs has the Starbucks.

GGästanvändareBeen travelling around China as a solo traveller, and this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at, for the price. The room is massive, with your own bathroom area, bedroom, and living room. The gym is beautiful too. Laundry and dryer are free with detergent and softener. Robot comes to deliver food to you, if you order online.
Hotel was one of the reasons I enjoyed Suzhou so much.

The staff were all incredibly kind and attentive, responding promptly to every request. The service was exceptional at every point—the restaurant, reception, and pool. A truly outstanding experience.
The location is excellent, surrounded by a great mix of convenience stores and restaurants. Venturing just a little further, you discover lovely streets brimming with the warm, lively vibe of local suzhou spots. We also found the information pamphlet in the room very helpful. I’ll definitely visit here again :)

Byggnaden var tidigare bostad för Wang, hustru till Pan Zuyin, en viktig minister under den sena Qingdynastin. Den byggdes på det 10:e året av Qianlongs regeringstid under Qingdynastin (1745) och har en historia på nästan 300 år. Efter renovering har hela Jiangnan herrgård nu totalt 27 rum.
Platsen vinner, ”en Pingjiang Road, halva Suzhou City”. Att bo här är som att bo i den antika staden. Du kan hitta utsökt mat och kul när du går ut. Vagnen som säljer riskakor finns precis framför hotellet -berömda snacks. Det tar bara tio minuter att gå längs Pingjiang Road till Humble Administrator's Garden och Subo.
Pingjiang Road är för upptagen, men att vistas här kan känna lugnet på den gamla gatan tidigt på morgonen. Det mjuka ljuset är perfekt för att ta bilder.
Favoritdetaljer: Dörrnyckeln är väldigt unik och den vita skivan är avkänningsområdet.

Man kan säga att funktionen är lika modern som inredningen är urgammal.
Jag bokade en Garden Room king size-säng och hade turen att få en uppgradering till en lyxig king size-säng när jag checkade in, vilket gav mig mycket mer utrymme.
Snacks och frukt förbereddes i rummet i förväg, och det var uppbäddningsservice Efter att ha återvänt till rummet på natten, levererades varm vit svampsoppa.
I gruppköpspaketet ingår tetillverkning vid elden och Hanfu-upplevelse. Efter att ha klätt ut mig i Gusu lilla byggnad bredvid, gick jag ner och såg att tekannan på spisen redan fräsade... drack te, tog bilder och tittade på det livliga folket på andra sidan floden, det var så avkopplande.
Frukosten var mycket tillfredsställande. De röda soppnudlarna är pålägg av bräserat fläsk och flodräkor. Det finns gröt, små wontons, soppa, ångbåtsdumplings, siomai, ångade kakor... Det enda är att kaffet är lite överväldigande.
Tjänsten var utmärkt.
Jag gjorde flera förfrågningar och bokningssamtal innan jag checkade in, och min inställning var mycket tålmodig.
Jag hittade laddningshuvudet som satt fast i laddningsporten på min mobiltelefon sent på kvällen. Jag bad receptionen om en tandpetare för att ta itu med det .
En natt på detta hotell räcker inte.
Jag vill inte checka ut, jag vill inte gå hem.

GGreat Traveller💯The lady who checked us in on Day 1 was very good, but the staff did not wear any name tag so I can’t remember her name. We found that she is the only one who was prompt and alert to guests needs. She helped upgrade us to a room that is more handicap friendly, as my husband was on crutches. She also helped us order takeaway using her private mobile phone when the restaurant on site was closed for lunch as we had no china mobile phone number to order take away.
💯The location is great by the lake and near the Tianmu Lake scenic park.
💯Outdoor hot spring staff on duty are attentive and polite. She even instructed the buggy driver to the nearest point to pick us when she noticed that my husband had difficulty walking. However the buggy driver did not pick us from the recommended point as she gave the excuse that her buggy driving skills are not good enough. Therefore we had to walk a longer way to be picked up, which puzzled everyone as there was more than enough space and a road for buggy entry….
❌ Not enough staff, especially at dinner and breakfast. Food is slow to come at dinner even though we pre-ordered. Waited 30 mins and more. Staff are loud clearing the crockery, and had no sense of regard for those still dinning.
❌tour groups arrive in the evening by the bus load. The hotel did not feel premium with the crowd who were very loud.
❌the private hot spring in the room only had a fixed temperature of more than 40 degrees which made it very uncomfortable when the external temperature is more than 30 degrees. The solution was to mix it with cold water via tap, which was very slow and impractical. The hot water needs to be filled up by the staff, and you have to call them.
❌not suitable for those with difficulty walking or elderly. ideal to have your own car.
🤔Overall, I did not feel that I made a good choice with this booking. There are others private hot spring room near Yu Shui hot spring / Bamboo sea area for a better value and premium feel.
🫥I would also caution against the 100 yuan fish coupon - it is a discount coupon to offset about a third of the price of the dish, not a complimentary coupon for a fish head casserole.
I did not receive the welcome gift so I can’t comment. The public hot springs has 4 pools.

GGästanvändareOur trip to Nanjing left us with beautiful memories and a very positive impression. Largely attributable to the very pleasant stay at Swisstouches Hotel. We stayed in the suite from end May to early June.
1. Very clean and comfortable suite - About one of the most comfortable rooms I have had stayed in recent memory. Spacious, clean, well - kept, well - maintained. Reasonably priced. Whole place smelled good, no hint of musky odour, no tobacco smell, children had zero issue with allergy. Sound proofing was great.
I do wish the kitchenette is better equipped with microwave oven, utensils and simple crockery. Not that we cook in the room, but I guess it is more convenient to have simple utensils available in the kitchenette.
2. Courteous, attentive and responsive service - Reception was courteous, patient and reliable. Restaurant staff were obliging and prompt (requests were attended to promptly, room cleaning staff were responsible and detailed. (I accidentally left the Do-Not-Disturb sign on, they left a note reminding me about that, and took the initiative to return in the evening to clean up the room - all without any request from me. I thought of just going letting the room cleaning pass for 1 day). Such conscientious work attitude is hard to come by.
3. Food was hygienic and ample - The buffet breakfast was amply stocked and spread was decent. Not an emperor's feast, but way enough to surpass expectations for most people.
4. Location was decent, safe - The hotel is situated in the outskirts of Nanjing city. So you get the tranquil, but you wont have the hustle and bustle. There are convenience stores and eateries well within a stone's throw. Ride hailing taxis are easily available too. But if you are expecting to walk to the tourist spots, you will have to stay in the heart of the city. I personally prefer a location like Swisstouches' .
5. Facilities - I only tried the swimming pool and gym. Very decent. Good enough for exercise and workouts during travel. Gym was well equipped, albeit a little messy. But that's more of gym users rather than the set-up. Swimming pool was well maintained and monitored at all times. Great for lane swimming.
All in all, fantastic stay. Go back again? Big Yes.

RRemilyWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂
The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally.
For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁
Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.

CC. P. LeeI found this hotel by chance after learning that the one where I was originally wanting to book was sold out for my dates. I guess it was luck, because this place is so beautiful and calming. The pictures do not lie! I booked one of their top floor rooms, but I didn't realize that I would be navigating a short but steep step of winding stairs to access it. (Elevators are between the 1st and 2nd floor guest rooms only.) Even as a relatively able person, I still took my time going up and down the steps. The room itself is nothing short of amazing; in addition to the outdoor private tub on the patio, there's also a tea ”alcove,” and also a king-sized bed in a sparsely- but chicly furnished main room. It's a pity I stayed for only two days, and I didn't have the chance to explore their offerings of a sound bath, etc. The staff also brought up some kind of soup concoction on the first night, which was very kind! Breakfast is included, but guest have to go to the building across the path, and take the elevator to the 2nd floor. I tried only the Western breakfast; maybe the Chinese breakfast is more hearty.
Tip #1: When ordering a DiDi or taxi, drop your pin at the hotel's precise location, and not just at the security check at the main entrance. From reading other reviews, I thought that cars not belonging to guest couldn't get in, so I ended up walking with heavy luggage to get to the entrance of the hotel. Fortunately, when I left, I was able to get the DiDi to the hotel parking lot.
Tip #2: Staff possess varying degrees of English levels, but I'd still recommend this place if (like me) you don't speak any Chinese. Make sure to add WeChat and add the hotel's account as a friend; this is the fastest way to contact them during your stay. Staff and I communicated via this method, as well as interpretation apps (Google Translate on my end).
Tip #3: Humble Administrator's Garden is about a 20-25 mn walk south. The closest ”scenic area” is along the Grand Canal, which just over the wall north of the hotel. You'll likely need to take the bus (download Amap) and/or take a DiDi to get to different places.
