Here's why we gave the experience 3 stars; First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review. The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-) Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor ”inconvenience” when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance. 1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process. 2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance. Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.

Convenient location and walking distance to the bay. Spacious room with luxury design. Bathroom with privacy at the back of the room. Very comfy bedding and nice staff. The coffee dispenser was empty in the lobby, will be perfect if refilled it in time.

一號酒店應該是這幾年開始興起的新五星酒店？酒店以原生態設計為靈感，大堂和房間的裝修用了大量原木，非常有意思。位置很好，酒店在山坡上，酒店的大露台可以俯瞰整個城市，LA的傍晚很美～住過來才知道西好萊屋是boy town～到處飄揚的彩虹旗也是很有意思哈哈哈附近好吃的好玩好吃非常多，又不像市區有那麼多流浪漢，我住了五天整體感覺還是非常舒服的～哦對，酒店的早餐很不錯，我幾乎嘗試了菜單上的每個主菜，沒有任何踩雷，果汁也很棒，酒店採用的都是加州應季的水果，來住的話一定要嘗試呀。咖啡和茶就一言難盡了，不好喝...也有其他槽點：比如保潔員沒有檢查冰箱，冰箱裏還有上一個住客留下來的沒喝完的飲料...酒店很新，但維護不太好，地毯已經有大片污漬了...前台有一個服務生態度很差...還趕上了LA酒店員工集體罷工，服務多少有些跟不上。

Staying on a day whwn the weather was horrible undoutably did not help this being good review as we were unable to use the pool areas or enjoy the balconies or the bikes etc but I have to say I was disappointed in the room itself given the cost. When it costs in the $600 range I expected more. 300 square feet, with one chair, a bench along one wall facing away from the TV and a work space that I can only describe as laughable is less than I expected. I confess if I had paid more attention to the pictures, they were accurate. The quality of the bedding and the towels etc were top notch as were the robes and other aids. The fridge was strange but it met our needs. The lighting was interesting. Lights turned them selves off and on automatically not always when you wanted them to, including in the middle of the night if you did not want wake your partner. When the lights went off in half the room we were startled but it seems this just might be to keep the electric bill down as when we rentered the area they came back on. They tell you the internet and parking are free but are they? They were the only two things I recieved for a $60 resort fee. On the bright side the staff was excellent though they would benifit having a larger check in area. The dinner at their restaurant was outstanding. Beware, that if you have any walking disabilities some rooms not on the first floor are only accessible via the stair way. Our designated room was one of them and we have disabilities. The staff was able to do some moving around and all was well but if you are going to stay there make sure they are aware.

Pretty good location, downtown. However, a lot of homless around during day and night, a bit sketchy but overall, the service of the hotel is great.

The hotel room shower system was broken, a total disaster when I wanted to have a shower at midnight. I have to pack all my luggages and go back to the hotel lobby and change my room. It was very disappointing, although the view was nice and parking was cheap.

It is in a strategic location which 10 minutes walk to Disneyland Anaheim and 5 minutes drive to Walmart/Mcd/KFC/ Burger King. The opposite of the hotel is Toy Story Parking Lot, Disneyland will provide shuttle bus services to/fro Disneyland. 2 minutes walk to CVS pharmacy/ 7-11/ and Walgreen for your snacks or souvenirs. The amenities ie toothpaste/ brush will be provided on a request basis. Photos provided are Disneyland for your reference.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Conrad Los Angeles and it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I felt the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The hotel itself is very new and beautifully designed, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. I’ve stayed in hotels that cost significantly more—sometimes 800 to 900 dollars a night—and yet this one exceeds them all in both quality and value. It truly is the best hotel of its kind, bar none. I especially want to mention Lila at the front desk. She was kind enough to upgrade my room, and her helpful nature made me feel so welcome. Throughout my stay, housekeeping was excellent—my room was always spotless and well-stocked. Whenever I asked for extra items like a microwave or an iron, the staff brought them to my room right away and made sure I had everything I needed. The only minor hiccup was with the mini-bar: I removed a few drinks to make space for my own water, and the next day I noticed a charge for using the mini-bar. However, once I let the staff know, they immediately assured me there would be no charge. Overall, Conrad Los Angeles stands out for its beautiful facilities, attentive service, and superb value. I highly recommend it, and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you again to Lila and the entire team for making my stay so memorable!

一家麻雀雖小，五臟俱全的酒店。酒店緊鄰Union Square購物街區，出門左拐三個街區便是Neiman Marcus百貨中心。酒店規模很小，年代也舊，但特別精緻，也特別乾淨清爽。大堂裏有很多印度風格的裝飾品，很有氣氛。酒店服務人員及其熱情，門僮第一時間幫忙卸行李，將行李一路送至房間，甚至還會幫忙撣灰。傍晚還會給送夾心巧克力點心。房間特別乾淨舒適，還配備電熱水壺，針織浴袍，還有拖鞋。床單也是像國內酒店採用被套鴨絨被。洗浴用品都是用的英國老牌Molton Brown，留香時間很長。總之這家Taj酒店算是三番市中心的一個祕密寶藏，有家一般的温馨，又有來自第三世界國家的奢華感。極力推薦！

I’ve been to Monterey many times over the years and always considered spending a little extra to stay here. My stay was alright. The room was clean, loved the big tub and stand alone shower. Duvet was very comfortable but only thin down pillows with no support. I was disappointed with my “ocean view” which ended up being brick wall of the building next door, with a questionable metal “balcony.” If you were brave enough to peer over you could see the ocean. Parking is $50+ a night whether you valet or self park. We weren’t told which of the nearby parking garages were affiliated and ended up in the wrong garage the first night and had to pay double. If I stay again I’d just skip on their garage and use the one on Foam St for $20 overnight parking. We did not visit the restaurant so cannot speak on that. Area is fun, love the proximity to the aquarium. Lots of little touristy shops and cafes right outside on the strip. For the price plus the additional parking fee I do not know that I’d stay here again. Driving to all the local hot spots is pretty easy so staying a little bit away from the area and spending less seems to be a better idea for me personally.
