The Castle Hotel ★★★★

"4 of us . Just popped in for a pint and ended up having food . Between us we had 2 x welsh burgers and chips, chicken burger and chips, veggie burger and chips , they all came with the best coleslaw in mid wales , the quality of the burgers were spot on, fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle (lovely) . There’s a new owner who was very welcoming very friendly and accommodating . Wish we weren’t driving as we’d have stayed for longer for the rugby. A nice touch as there was a free raffle prize of a Fiji rugby shirt on offer . All 4 of us have given a 5 star rating and we’d recommend to anyone wanted a pint and some food or to watch some sports to come here . We will pop back next time we are here . "

"Vilken vacker plats.En av de första byggs när hamnen byggdes.En perfekt plats (på hamnen) för vårt besök och rummet bosatte mamma, dotter och moster. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean and well stored with tea/cafe etc with the bonus of a mini-fridge.Jag älskade ”bricksbrac” runt och målningen.Frukost var bra med en blandning av kontinental och traditionell. Jag skulle definitivt stanna där igen."

Feathers Hotel, Bar and Restaurant ★★★

"On checking in we were shown to our room. The room was ample in size. The bed was very comfortable enabling a good nights sleep. The en-suite had been refurbished with a shower. A problem with water pressure was promptly attended to. As we were eating as a group of fourteen, we had pre ordered, and our meals were served speedily all together. Our choices of food were hot and well presented. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu again served without delay. The staff were attentive nothing being too much trouble making for a relaxing stay."

"Vi hyrde lägenheten och ett enda rum.Personalen är mycket vänlig.Båda platserna har havsutsikt.Lägenheten är inte mycket nära hotellet och det finns en 10-minuters promenad.Men lägenheten är mycket vacker. Det enda är att det inte finns några hissar på vart som helst.Dessutom är fönstret för hotellrummet mycket gammalt och har de två träborden istället för gardinerna.Det är mycket original, men inte riktigt ljudbevis."

LLys Aeron "The Little Hotel" ★★★★

"My wife and I recently returned from a short stay at llys Aeron guest house. We do lots of short breaks around England and Wales and we can confidently say that Llys Aeron was without doubt the best we have stayed at. The room we stayed in was very spacious and beautifully furnished,(spotlessly clean). There are only three rooms,(all on the first floor) and there is also a two bedroom apartment on the lower ground floor leading to the lovely garden. The breakfast was exceptional.Cooked fresh to perfection,or a wide choice of alternatives if required. Kerry,the owner was wonderful.Along with her husband Johnathan,they run an excellent guest house. We will definitely be arranging a return visit later in the Summer."
