"Vi tillbringade en natt i Coille Darach på vår vägresa genom Skottland och fick en mycket varm välkomst.Vi uppskattade mycket den bekväma sängen, kvalitetssängar och handdukar och njöt av en av de bästa frukosterna på hela resan. Det fanns ett separat sittplats/ balkong som vi också kunde använda. Vi borde ha bokat middag på en lokal restaurang i förväg, men vi hade tur att vara utrustade i Strontian hotellrestaurangen och njöt av en underbar kvällsmåltid med utsikt över vattnet."

"We stayed for three days in August 2024. Don’t arrive earlier than the 4pm check in as the hotel will be locked up. Staff were excellent 5+ stars. Always willing to help and answer questions. Food in the evening was good but expensive as no other choices in Kilchoan with most items £17 apart from starters, pizza and childrens menu. Breakfast was good but maybe should use local produce where available. Haggis would have been good as an additional breakfast item to make it a « real » full Scottish. I envoyed our stay and would recommend."

"WOW! WOW! WOW! Mingary Castle is outstanding, utterly beautiful sat perched on the cliff, and oozes charm & character. Staff are welcoming, friendly, very proud & passionate, & happily explained the history of Mingary castle. Service is very attentive & each course is described in detail with pride. The food is sublime! Each dish has exacting detail you would expect from this level of professional cookery, the Chef uses many seasonal & locally sourced ingredients, & all dishes are intriguing, well balanced & unctuous. Each dish was bursting with flavour, & considered, worthy of any Michelin star! The menu was very well priced, and I would love to visit again, I only wish I lived nearer! Excellent quality, excellent food, well designed menu & such a talented team & Chef!"
