"This is NOT a “luxury” hotel by any stretch. The rooms are nicely appointed but that’s it. Most importantly, the rooms do not have individual thermostats, just central air that you cannot control. My room was freezing and calls to the ‘concierge’ didn’t help. Unable to sleep at 12:30 I called to get an extra blanket but there was no staff on site. This seems to be consistent problem as other guests have complained of 80deg rooms. Further, despite the website advertising breakfast and cable tv, it has neither. They provide streaming service but it wasn’t working when I checked in and it took more than an hour to get it fixed. The website shows a lovely breakfast of avocado toast, hard boiled eggs and yogurt cups but they just offer some mini muffins and cake, no protein. When I raised that the website advertised these things, I was told they were sorry the hotel didn’t meet my expectations - as if they were unreasonable, not what’s on the website. Most importantly, a “luxury” hotel has professional, experienced and accommodating staff that address shortcomings but the staff here are not and when the hotel failed to be as advertised, staff acted as if this was my problem, not theirs. After i posted this review on Google, the hotel responded by saying it was speaking to legal counsel (!) good luck with that. So be warned, if you have a bad experience and post about it, the hotel management will try to threaten legal action."

"Sad to leave a not great review. Stayed 3 nights for a wedding. Very expensive plus Ubers to the center of Annapolis, not within walking distance. Place is clean and nicely renovated but that’s it. There are no little niceties for the extra $$$$. There is a full huge kitchen but they offer just a few picking breakfast items, a scone, small muffin, no fruit or yogurt anything. For this price point they should be preparing a full breakfast. You know who is staying, it’s not that difficult. There is a lovely fully renovated back patio with….nowhere to sit. Just an empty brick patio. This has potential but for now my recommendation would be to stay somewhere else in the center of Annapolis."
