"Couples or even groups of friends will find this place to be ideal for relaxing. The abundance of historic homes and artefacts from notable people in the past evokes nostalgic feelings. The staff is incredibly helpful, pleasant, and quick to respond. The only real drawbacks are the unusually quiet floor and the lack of a bidet in our room. The road leading up to the resort is very uneven and dangerous for cars. To make matters worse, they charge extra for extra mineral water, which is totally unfair. There are other hotels and resorts all over the globe where this isn't the norm. I hope this can be reviewed and made better. Not only that, the hot water flow from the toilet is extremely low."

"Review of La Jolla Resort (April 17–19, 2025) ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (3/5) We stayed at La Jolla Resort during Holy Week (April 17–19, 2025), and while there were definite highlights, a few issues kept it from being a five-star experience. What we liked: - The food was excellent—everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. - The resort grounds and our room were clean and well-maintained, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. - Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. - We appreciated the Holy Week activities, which added a nice, thoughtful touch to the overall stay. What could be improved: - The shuttle service was extremely disappointing. Delays were poorly communicated and ended up making us late for an important commitment. - After check-out, we hosted some guests for lunch, but we were only allowed access to the day tour area, which felt like a downgrade—especially after being paying guests. A bit more flexibility here would’ve gone a long way. - Our bathroom had some plumbing issues, which was inconvenient and not what we expected given the overall cleanliness of the room. La Jolla definitely has its strong points—particularly the food and staff—but the logistical hiccups and lack of guest accommodation after check-out need to be addressed to deliver a truly premium experience."

"Our stay at the Archduchess Villa in Rancho Bernardo, Bataan, was nothing short of amazing. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with modern amenities, including an Alexa-operated system that made everything incredibly convenient. The highlight was definitely the private jacuzzi, offering the perfect place to relax and unwind while enjoying the serene surroundings. The peaceful and secluded atmosphere of Rancho Bernardo made it an ideal escape, and the exceptional service from the staff added a personal touch to our experience. It was the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility, making it an unforgettable staycation. Definitely worth every penny!"
