"Jag kom hem från att bo på denna fantastiska plats!Mitt rum visades på webbplatsen, mycket bekvämt, med allt jag behövde.Hela stället är osvittigt rent. Frukost var verkligen bra, många kontinentala val, ett par varma alternativ, bara saknade en brödrost? En pool var på väg att renoveras medan det fanns och även om jag kunde få en solsäng på den andra, som var vacker, var du tvungen att vara snabb eftersom det bara var omkring 8.Tack och lov fanns inga handdukar som reserverade sängar. "We had a really lovely holiday here and were pleasantly surprised after reading some mixed reviews before arriving. We’re a young English couple and had read that the hotel mainly caters to French guests. That is true, but it didn’t negatively impact our stay at all. In fact, we really liked the relaxed atmosphere and found the mix of French, German and Ukrainian guests gave the hotel a calmer feel. One major plus was that there was absolutely no issue getting sunbeds — no early morning reserving, and even by 10am there were still plenty available. We were very impressed with the buffet food. It was the best all-inclusive buffet we’ve had and, in our opinion, even better than the 5* Mitsis hotel we stayed at last year. Breakfast is perhaps the weakest meal if you prefer a traditional British-style breakfast, as there aren’t really cooked English breakfast options beyond eggs and bacon, but there were pancakes, French toast and plenty of other choices. I do think the hotel could improve breakfast by offering more fresh fruit and some fresh juice options. Lunch and dinner, however, were both consistently delicious. We tried both the Greek and Italian à la carte restaurants. Unfortunately, we weren’t very impressed with the Greek restaurant. The food was underwhelming and some of the dishes felt similar to what was already available in the buffet. Service also let it down a little, as communication was difficult at times and a salad we had ordered was taken away before we’d finished it, even though we had asked to keep it for our mains. The location of the Greek restaurant also isn’t the nicest, as it’s right by the main road into the hotel with no real view. It’s a shame, as the lit terrace area below the buffet restaurant, surrounded by gardens, would make a much nicer setting. We paid for a superior double room with a partial sea view and were so pleased with it. The room was newly renovated, modern and really lovely, and the view was beautiful. If you’re booking, I’d definitely recommend opting for one of the renovated rooms if your budget allows. My one major criticism of the room is the lack of a full-length mirror, which was surprisingly inconvenient and feels like an easy thing for the hotel to add. The minibar was also a nice extra and was restocked every two days with soft drinks, beer and wine. There are still a number of non-renovated rooms towards the back of the resort, so I do think the renovated rooms make quite a difference to the experience. The pool areas were lovely, with comfortable sunbeds and a nice atmosphere. It is definitely a family hotel, so it can be lively with lots of children and entertainment during the day. The entertainment is run by a French team, but they were excellent — engaging, energetic and inclusive without ever being pushy. We didn’t go to the evening entertainment as we prefer quieter evenings, but the fact it takes place in the amphitheatre meant the pool bar area stayed lovely and relaxed in the e"

"I have just returned from a 1 week stay in Elpis with my 3 teenage daughters and I would highly recommend. Poppy, her sons, the bar staff and house keepers are the loveliest of people are really make you feel welcome. I like to travel to different places and have never went back to the same place twice however this is the first time and place I would be tempted to return to again! We shared a room for 4 and found there was plenty of space and the room was immaculately clean. Nice sized balcony overlooking the pool. The outside space is beautiful with lots of sweet smelling flowers! The pool is a good size and my teenagers had a great time playing on the water and lounging by the pool side. It wasn’t too busy and always a sun lounger (comfy!). The bar was great and served drinks, smoothies and light bites all at a reasonable price. There is a small super market right next door which is ideal for all the necessities. The nearest beach in about a 3 minute walk - it’s a lovely beach with some water sports which my teenagers loved! The water was clear and beach sandy. The port of Bali beach is about 10mins walk where you can take part in more water sports and boat trips which I highly recommend. There’s a range of tavernas, tourist shops (selling lovely traditional Cretan gifts) restaurants and cafes all at a reasonable price. The people of Crete are very friendly and helpful and the island itself is beautiful! Elpis may be a 2 star but it feels like it should be more. Location, staff, rooms, pool are all brilliant!"

"Hotell beläget på Bali, rummet är litet, luftkonditionerat med balkong och kylskåp och jag skulle säga ganska rent... Det kan vara bra för en semester... poolen är liten men användbar för ett dopp när man återvänder från havet, personalen är mycket vänlig och hjälpsam, strukturen som helhet är bra, lunch- och middagsservicen kan definitivt förbättras där det nästan inte finns något val, du äter vad som finns... en bil tvingar dig att hyra..."

"Tucked away in the bustling village of Bali is Nostos Boutique hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our standard room was HUGE!!!! It was clean and tended to daily by housekeeping who refreshed our towels, loo rolls, shower gel/soap/shampoo and bedding and also mopped the floors! Our room opened out onto the pool area with luxury sun loungers and sofas - the mountain view was stunning!! The beach was 10M away, with shops on the main street just a 1 minute walk from the hotel. You could book excursions, rent a car, eat out, shop for essentials or souvenirs all within 1/4 mile radius. We went half board and this included breakfast and dinner - breakfast had everything you could think of and was served buffet style. Dinner choices were limited, not off the main menu and unfortunately lacked many traditional Greek dishes - but the food was not bad. The restaurant was stylish and the waiting staff were attentive and happy to chat. We will be returning and recommending to our family and friends. We were sad to leave. If you get the chance, stay here!!!!"

"Vi hade en underbar vecka på Bali Diamond.Vi checkade in senare på grund av vår flygankomsttid.Personalen kunde inte ha varit mer hjälpsam, bytte våra rum lite så att vi hade ett dubbelrum för mig och min mamma precis bredvid det dubbelrum min moster hade. Lyft upp till vår rumsnivå.Rummen var rymliga och välutrustade med kylskåp, kök, te, kaffe och socker plus glas, muggar och plattor (med skål!) så att vi kunde ha snacks (baklava) på vår terrass. Badrummet var bra, en vacker regndusch, med tvål och små schampo/kroppsvassa flaskor.Skönt att ha badkar och skjortor! Sängar och kycklingar var bekväma och rummet renades och sängar gjordes varje dag, och sängar och handdukar ändrades i mitten av veckan.Frukost var en fest med många alternativ inklusive kontinental med kallt kött och ost, läckra grekiska yoghurt och färsk frukt. Det fanns färskt bröd och gräsmattar med olika topp, också spannmål.Det fanns ett fantastiskt val av olika varma mat, juice och olika te och kaffe.Tack vare den vackra damen som brydde sig om allt. Terrassen var inställd med bord och stolar, och hade vackra utsikter över poolen till havet och bergen.Vi behövde en taxi en dag, och det ordnades för oss.Strand är rakt emot hotellet med solrummor tillgängliga för hyra. Strandn är vacker, en skjuld sandbassäng med stor snorkelning i en enda ända.Galini Taverna, rakt intill dörren, var en riktig bonus.Allt i allt var det en fantastisk plats att slappna av och ge en bas att utforska.100% skulle stanna där igen."
