"Had a very pleasant stay , thank you to the front desk for arranging our preferred room type with ease. Pleasant clean room with a bath tub and a quiet area to get a good sleep. We didn't have breakfast included but purchased at the hotel , the full Scottish breakfast was fantastic and very tasty . The location is perfect , there is a bus stop outside that can take you to various points of loch lomond and the buses take contact less too."

"I was very pleasantly surprised by how beautifully appointed the rooms were. The owner has a nice eye for color and design in a simple, modern room. I also appreciated the many nice touches in the room, such as outlets and wall mounted reading lights at the head of each bed, a nightlight in the bathroom, a fan in the bathroom, a large eating table that could seat six, and easy to operate window shades that blocked out light. Since there were three of us, we stayed in the room with a set of bunk beds and two twins. It was a spacious room. Outside the four rooms on the second floor is a large common area with comfy seating, plenty of light, and some children's toys. It's a lovely, light-filled space in which to sit and read or for children to play indoors. I'm very glad we booked here!"

"We called at Balloch just to break a long road journey and get some petrol. We didn't know anywhere, so just picked this unprepossessing place at random. We were very pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm and the service charming. Apart from bar drinks there was proper coffee available (I was driving). Food was straightforward with a few specials. I had the soup of the day (lentil) and it was excellent, served with a warm crusty roll. Prices very reasonable. An excellent lunch."
