"We booked this hotel because it was in a château and it looked romantic and unique .However there were many details lacking overall. Firstly avoid the restaurant at all costs even though the three course meal was only €29. The food preparation and quality was terrible. Please see attached photos. The salmon I had was overcooked from frozen salmon and the greens were likely frozen greens that were boiled to mush and no longer green. The risotto was just rice coated in some weird cream and had some tasteless pieces of chicken slapped on top. We did not finish the food. They clearly also need more staff as our receptionist was doubling up as a waitress, and we noticed that there were some waits and gaps in service. The room was compact and clean, but the details were lacking. For example, the fixtures and appliances were the cheapest variety possible and didn’t match the Luxe feel that the hotel is going for. The location is slightly out of town and a 20 minute walk to all the main sites in the old town. The grounds were tidy and very pretty in photos."

"Facilities: Basically online, the first time I encountered the bathroom and wash basin and bed, they were not isolated in the bedroom; yesterday it was rainy and I didn't take a shower; Hygienic: very clean, details dotted with small decorations; Environment: On the main street of Bayo Town, about 2 kilometers walk from the train station; the shops on the street of the town are not open all day. Go to Omaha, Normandy, and take the bus 120 and 3 euros to the beach. The bus is very punctual. Check the round-trip trains and times; There is also a World War II memorial to visit, but not at a station. I finished it in the rain yesterday, and I can also feel the atmosphere of landing. ✅ I like the history of World War II. Service: The landlord's aunt went to work in the afternoon and checked in on time. I stayed for one night. Transportation to the beach landing in Normandy, from Paris train 2-4 hours to Bayo, close to Caen, a large stop. There are many trains, in Paris gare saint lazare stops."
