"Per the photos, superbly renovated and fully stocked. Very short walk to the middle of town, but in a very quiet street. Perfect base for one or two couples. Rooms are enormous, and the individual bathrooms even larger (Almost comically so, but did appreciate watching the afternoon news from the bath). The little things like bedside chocolates and port show the owners have thought of everything."

"For a birthday treat we spent the weekend at Belmont and used it as our base to wine and dine our way through Beechworth. Belmont was the perfect spot to rest and recover after a great pub meal at Tanswells Hotel, pizza and some craft beers at Bridge Road Brewers, and the highlight of the weekend - the degustation dinner at Provenance Restaurant. The comfy bed and big bath at Belmont felt like the perfect luxury space to recharge, ready for another meal. Thank you for a great stay!"

"This is a very comfortable hotel situated in beautiful parkland. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the shower with its large diameter shower head that makes for a good shower. What spoilt my stay was the occupants in the room next to mine returned late at night and had their TV at such a loud volume that it was like being in a cinema. The walls between the rooms have no sound proofing."

"What a great motel , on the outskirts of Beechworth. Room was spacious with comfortable lounge chairs, bed and a large tv . Views were overlooking the valley below (some rooms overlook the car park).The property also has family cabins near the pool. All rooms are entered by a central internal corridor which i like .A lot of work has gone into development of the property. Lovely family owned operation , who could not do enough for their customers. A cooked breakfast completes the package.It was a treat having a coffee overlooking the valley and watching the squabbling cockatoos .I will be back."

"I’ve stayed here half a dozen times. Original condition 19th century convent. The best rooms are the Parlour and the Chapel. Will stay there again soon. Period charm throughout. Hosts really nice and well located near Main Street. Nuns quarters are also great they’re in an old house next door."
