"Under vår resa till Salento stannade vi i Castro en natt men vi bestämde oss för att stanna en natt till för att vara vänliga och gästfria för alla personal. Mycket stora rum med fantastisk havsutsikt, stor parkering (som i Salento ofta är en svårighet) och rik frukost och gjort hemma. De har missbrukat oss med färsk makedonien och nyss svalde fikonkaka. Danilo och hela hans familj har låtit oss känna hemma... även vår hund 🐶😉 Mycket bra!"

"You need to hire better pest control, or simply pay more attention to the cleaning process, because I found a gnarly cockroach the size of a finger crawling around the room and it grossed me out so much… how is this a 4 star hotel if there’s no pest control."

"Bra upplevelse. Gamla hotell, men hålls bra och mycket ren. Ställplats täckt precis framför dörren. Rum var och en med sin terrass havsutsikt. Utsikt fantastisk! Från baksidan, stiga en stig och några meter från gatan och du är uppe, till katedralen och slottet. Besökt med guiden, mycket intressant, liksom hålls bra. I torget, vi åt något på en lokals bord på torget. Priser i normala och allt bra, även om pucken inte var en riktig Salentin pucken. Väldigt vänlig personal. Tillbaka till hotellet, Mr Luigi mycket vänlig och tillgänglig, även att göra oss en kaffe, när som helst. - Frukost är mycket och mycket bra."

Hotel Piccolo Mondo

"Staff were excellent at reception and very friendly. For the price paid the room was very basic and a curtain hangs to cover the wardrobe space, but clean. The pool area was nice and breakfast nice and simple. The place needs an update and has potential to be so much more. There is no shuttle to town and taxis and Ubers are not interested in the 1.2km ride. The walk along the shoulder of the road is precarious."

"We stayed at the B&B La Rosa Antica in Castro and had a truly pleasant experience. The property is strategically located: very close to the historic center and just minutes from the sea in Castro Marina, one of the most beautiful villages in Salento. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the bed very comfortable. We appreciated the tranquility of the place, ideal for those seeking relaxation away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast is a highlight: plentiful, with fresh, typical local products, homemade cakes, seasonal fruit, and excellent coffee. The owners, Maria and Luigi, are extremely kind and always available, making us feel at home from the very first moment. Mr. Luogo even went to the nearby town in the morning to get lemon cream and Nutella tartlets for breakfast. Super. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back. Furthermore, the quality-price ratio is excellent: the property offers comfort and authentic hospitality at truly competitive prices for the area."
