Peloke's Motel ★★

"Firstly - the previous reviews seem to be from a long time ago. As you approach the motel it looks very much 1908s and that's what it turned out to be. The guy on reception was friendly enough and we went off to our room. It's a usual motel room with the normal facilities you'd expect. The decor and bed/chair was dated. We found that the bedsheets were clean and the bathroom and towels were clean. In fact we had a good night's sleep on the bed and pillows. The room itself would have benefitted from a full clean but, as I said, the essentials had been taken care of. The 4* ******* rating says "very good", I couldn't go to that, hence the 3* rating. "

Catskill Motor Court ★★

"The photos are very dated . Pool was not functioning and was drained . Very old and dilapidated . I did not even stay the night . Maybe other rooms were ok ."
