Just .5 miles off of RT 100, 22 min to Sugarbush, 20 min to Mad River Glen, and 39 min to Stowe Mtn Resort. 13 min to Waitsfield or Waterbury, 23 min to Montpelier, and 43 min to Burlington.The spaceInside our fully log cabin you will find a bedroom with 1 queen bed and a small workspace with a desk, 1 full bathroom, a full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses and utensils, a small dining area, and a living area with a loveseat sofa and a Roku TV with guest mode where you can easily and temporarily sign-in to all of your personal streaming services. If you have a baby we do have a pack and play available in the laundry room at all times. There is also a screened-in front porch at the front of the cabin featuring tables and seating.Heat and AC are provided through 2 mini split pump heads - one in the living area and the other in the main bedroom. They can be adjusted via the wall mounted controllers for your comfort.A washer and dryer are available for guests in the hall as well as an iron/ironing board and hair dryer. Free and clear detergent is available.A drip coffee maker is available along with complimentary packets of coffee grounds and tea bags.All bed sheets are 100% cotton. Towels are provided for guests. Liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available in the bathroom as well as rolls of toilet paper. Liquid dish soap, a new sponge, and a paper towels are available in the kitchen.We have a strict no pets policy. There is also a Ring video doorbell located next to the front door for security and communication. Ringing the doorbell will call me directly. You will have the entire cabin to yourselves. Guests are welcome to walk through the back woods where trails are currently being cut.Other things to noteTo access the house, you will need to drive up a dirt road. If you have a small child we do have a pack and play available in the laundry room at all times. We also have a ladder guard available to prevent climbing of the loft ladder and can set it up prior to your arrival with notice (it is always available in the utility room). There is also a spacious front porch that spans the front of the cabin, facing into the clearing and featuring tables and seating.A large fire pit area is carved into the side of the hill in front of the cabin with a 4ft diameter fire pit and rustic log seating. Cut firewood, kindling, paper and a lighter are complimentary and are available in a basket on the front porch.A gas barbecue grill is available for guests outside. Lilla Rustica is an elevated cabin among the trees. Private, with Stunning views this was built by "The Tree House Guys" a local Vermont company whom can be found having a season on the DIY network. Tons of detail, while keeping the design natural and simple. Excellent porch facing views of Camels hump State park. A loft with one queen bed and downstairs has a queen bed with three sides of the bed having windows facing the views. Hiking offered right from the cabin. An awesome getaway!Lilla Rustica cabin in the trees has a beautiful nestled in feel with incredible views from all windows. One of the highlights is the downstairs queen bed. Surrounded on three sides by windows you can look at the stars while lying in bed, or perhaps hear dear walk under the cabin while sleeping. Feel far from it all while still close to route 100 in Vermont which has Ben and Jerry's, Prohibition Pig, Stowe, SugarBush and the Mad River Valley, Lawsons and The Alchemist breweries, Lot of swimming holes and tons of hiking and mountain biking.Internet is provided as well as a small refrigerator, luxurious sheets and pillows. Stay warm and cozy inside the treehouse with a propane fireplace.Water is limited up in the trees, but you will be provided with all you need of some of the best Spring water you may have ever tasted. There is not a shower at this point in Lilla Rustica. We hope in the future build an outdoor shower, but for longer stays there are swimming holes, gyms and spas close by. The toilet for the cabin is located just at the end of ramp from the front door. About 5 second walk. It is private for those staying in Lilla Rustica. It is a porta pottty built to look like an outhouse. The advantage to this is that is rarely used and only by those guests of the cabin as well as fully cleaned and emptied very often. Having a toilet up in the trees is difficult. We know how important a clean bathroom is to guests and we think you will be pleasantly surprised with the experience. Beautiful cups and dishes are provided, dish towels, sheets, water, a way to make coffee and a small single burner gas stove. This cabin is super cozy and perhaps best for a couple.
