"Stayed at two rivers as I was attending a wedding nearby. Room only. Pros: Ample parking Allowed me to pick up my keycard early (as I would be at the wedding until after 10pm) Taylors coffee bags and Yorkshire tea in the room were better than the average hotel tea and coffee. Cons: The toilet seat was broken and had sticky tape holding it together. Not sure this is very sanitary. I would stay here again but for £120 per night a taped up toilet seat is not good enough."

"Detta slotthotell är magiskt, beläget i ett tyst område (golfbruss).Offentliga områden och fritidszon är mycket bra. Vi hade det billigaste rummet, det var av en bra storlek, med en dubbelsäng, 2 stolar, 2 nattstolar, 1 bröst med drag, skrivbord och kaffebord + garderob. Renhet var okej, men jag tror att det måste vara bättre, det fanns damm på ytorna och smuts/rubb på mattor. Vi hade ingen värme och varmt vatten, vi fick ringa mottagningen ett par gånger och problemet lösts.Badtub var mycket äckligt, vattentrycket var dåligt. Gym och pool/jacuzzi är trevliga och rymliga, bastu är mycket njutbar. Inga badrum och slips tillhandahölls ( konstigt, det är ett 4-stjärnigt hotell). Kolla på klockan 12.Väldigt bekvämt.Maten är super överpris, tillsammans med rumsservice. Parkering var okej, stram men många platser tillgängliga. Vi kommer säkert tillbaka för att vi älskade den!"

The staff were knowledgeable and attentive and gave our mixed bunch recommendations on wine and food options. The food was delicious and all 6 of us were delighted with our choices. The wine recommendation was inspired. It also helps to be situated in a beautiful part of the world - I look forward to our next visit"

"Narrow steep stairs, not en-suite bathroom but across the landing dangerous at night! Very old fashioned bathroom. Ceiling is very thin with occupants very noisy above the bedroom, noisy house generally and right on road with traffic noise! Will not be staying here again! Cannot understand why they have such a high rating!"

"On a weekend away visited Tintern Abbey and found this lovely hotel that had a very cosy lounge bar , 2 lovely fires on and very welcoming. We had really good real ale and a fabulous ploughman’s lunch with 3 local cheeses and some delicious home cooked ham . Would definitely recommend and visit again . Thank you for your hospitality ."
