The lobby is spacious and impressive, and the guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. "First off, the location is great! In the center of the ancient city, but at night we don’t hear the crowds outside! The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. I am traveling with 7 family members and they all had an amazing time. The rooms were extremely clean and the hosts were hospitable. When we needed ice packs, cold water, they delivered them and gave us some to go. The courtyard in the center was beautiful, with birds, fish, peacocks. Everyday we enjoyed tea and fresh fruit!"

"I initially booked for one night but I decided to stay for another night. Total two nights in the same room. Room is very clean, very quiet and the bed was superb, I slept very well. Staff super friendly and helpful. Hotel's location is about 10mins taxi from the old town centre but it is very convenient. If you don't like super crowded area with noisy street vendors and many tourists, I would recommend this place. I personally really enjoyed staying at this hotel, will definitely stay here again if I come back to Datong in future."

"Hotellets läge är bra, lätt att nå från huvudvägen för att hämta stora väskor och även för att ta sig runt i den antika staden både dag och natt för att njuta av alla sevärdheter. Saknad skyltning gör det lite svårt att hitta hotellet till en början. Även om vi hade betalat för ett större rum hade rummet knappt gångutrymme. Det fanns ingen bagageförvaring eller skåp. Toalettrummet och rumsgolvet var inte städade. Personalen å andra sidan är mycket vänlig och villig att hjälpa till med alla frågor - om lokala resor, sevärdheter, vegetarisk mat etc. De hittar ett sätt att hjälpa till på bästa sätt. Sammantaget var det en bra upplevelse och det hade varit bättre med några justeringar."

One day, we had to leave early for a tour and were going to miss breakfast and the hotel thoughtfully prepared snacks to take along, which was such a considerate gesture. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed and shower were excellent. And breakfast is also very good. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."

"Vi bokade bara en natt på fyra punkter av Sheraton Datong Pingcheng för att gå till "Yungang Grottoes" och "Xuankong Temple".På den dag vi anlände tidigt runt 10:00.Ms.Aimee kontrollerade rumets tillgänglighet och tillåtit oss att gå in och gå. Till rummet.Hotellet var trevligt.Vi beklagar att stanna här bara en natt.Om vi har tid kommer vi definitivt tillbaka till fyra punkter av Sheraton Datong Pingcheng."

"Highly recommended hotel with excellent value for money. The service was great, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We even got a free upgrade to a superior room upon check-in and received complimentary fruit during our stay, plus a small gift upon check-out. Although the hotel might be a bit older, it's very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The toiletries provided were of high quality, and the tissues were thick and plush. The shower facilities were excellent, making for a very comfortable experience. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and tasted delicious. Overall, considering the price, it's a hotel that leaves you satisfied from check-in to check-out. I'm genuinely recommending this hotel and writing all this because I truly mean it."

The room facilities were complete and new, the smart toilet was great, and the bedside Bluetooth speaker worked very well. The location was convenient, and the price was excellent. Getting back to the main point, the bed was very comfortable, and all my fatigue vanished. Every receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. They were incredibly attentive. The service was truly superb, exceeding my expectations, and I will definitely come back next time!"

"Had a lovely stay here! I was in a 12 bed dorm but the room is very spacious and has a private bathroom/shower, all super clean, and then bed was comfy. The only thing is that the bedlight makes a sound every time it’s turned on/off: it’s funny but I was a bit worried to bother other guests. Ah, I was also able to do my laundry with no fees and was even given a little welcome bag. The location although not within the city walls is close to several bus stops and one can ride a bike easy to all the major attractions ~ which was a lovely way to explore Datong. The best thing is the staff though: incredibly helpful and friendly. On my last day they let me stay past the checkout time so that I could keep on working using their WiFi which was a massive massive help, and offered to lend me an umbrella and drive me as the rain was so heavy. Most def recommend staying here when you visit Datong!"
