"Lovely boutique hotel with eleven rooms. We thought the room was nicely furnished and well equipped although a kettle or coffee machine should be included in a "superior" room at this price point. We took a travel kettle after reading previous reviews. Bed was very comfortable but the single, narrow quilt should maybe be replaced with two separate quilts. The shower was efficient with plenty of hot water but the sink was not fixed down and the drain plug not connected so proved useless for shaving. The staff were very friendly from the manager to the bar staff and we felt very much at home. Breakfast was simple but good enough and the freshly made coffees very nice. Ate at the hotel on a couple of occasions and have to say the steak was among the best I have had. The pool was lovely and warm and although the music a little distracting, it would be turned down on request. There are plenty of bars, beach clubs and good restaurants on the lower road that follows the waterline and it provides a pleasant walk into Kotor. Would stay here again with it's great views and good position away from the crowds of Kotor, due to the 2 or 3 cruise ships that arrive most days."

"Rummet var rymligt och välutsedd, med en vacker utsikt över poolen och ut mot havet.Vi hade särskilt trevligt att tillbringa tid i spaområdet, och frukost varje morgon var färsk och smakfull. Lokaliseringen är ungefär en 40-minute promenad till Kotor Old Town, som vi inte brydde oss alls när de skeniska kustutsikterna längs vägen gjorde det en trevlig promenad. En aspekt som avlägsnades från vår erfarenhet var dock inkonsekvensen i personalens gästfrihet.Medan flera lagmedlemmar var vänliga, välkomnande och hjälpsamma, var den första incheckningen besviken. Den anställde som kontrollerade oss in kom fram som ovänlig, och en annan interaktion innehöll en abrupt kommentar längs linjerna ”du får vad du betalar för”, som kändes olämplig och oprofessionell. Eftersom liknande feedback förekommer i andra recensioner kan det vara värt att stärka kundserviceutbildningen för att säkerställa en konsekvent välkommen och respektfull erfarenhet för alla gäster.Med mer konsekvent service kan detta enkelt vara en stående vistelse."

"The accommodation is a short walk from the old town. The room is large. There's plenty of storage space, but unfortunately, there's none in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi works well. There are also power outlets by the bed. The bed is pleasantly soft, but very narrow. There's air conditioning. The room includes a TV, table, sofa, chest of drawers, wardrobe, and safe; unfortunately, there's no full-length mirror. Soap and shower gel are provided. There's a kettle with tea and cups. One of the blinds is broken, and the shutters only provide partial blackout. Therefore, the room is very bright. The staff is friendly. We didn't have breakfast."

"We loved hotel alkima, it’s a small hotel with a big heart. When we stayed there was a family of Torttoises and a cat with 4 kittens, it’s so lovely either relaxing by the pool or in the garden on the swing chair. Main thing for us is it had a pool and was family run. Previous reviews were good and it did not fall short. We had a lovely room, the staff were all friendly, helpful and accommodating, breakfast was excellent and it was so quiet. We met lovely people, loved chilling in this relaxing hotel. We were B&B so ate out, lots of great restaurants nearby. The old town is 35 minute walk and Perast just 35 on the bus if you can take the boat. Loads of things to do if chilling isn’t you thinks, lots of walks, trips, bike rides or fun on the water. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and highly recommend. A special Thankyou to Vera on the reception for being so helpful and to the lady in the kitchen for the wonderful Omelettes"

"Vi tillbringade tre lyckliga dagar här som den första stopp på vår Montenegro semester.Det är ett av de vackraste hotellen jag någonsin har bott.Det var perfekt för mig och min tonåring dotter och mig som en base för att utforska Kotor men också avkoppla. Rummen är vackra och mycket rymliga.Personalen är så vänlig och hjälpsam, vi kände oss verkligen välkomna och tittade väl efter.Den privata stranden var underbar för lite tystnad.Många vackra restauranger att gå till också."
