Några av de mest komforterande sängar vi har sovit i.Några frågor med (kyllig) frukost (löst) och ett bra val.Några av vår fest njöt av sauna.En nere - den enda hissen är mycket liten och långsamt skapar en flaska."

"If you want to lose your money... I made a reservation via *********** at the Alma Hostel. When I arrived at the hotel, no one answered the door, the door was locked, and the windows were boarded up. No one answered the phone. There's a gas station across the street, and the employees told me it was closed, that it used to be a pub, but the owner was an alcoholic. I called *********** to see if they could intervene, but they didn't get a response either. I went to the police. They took me to the Travel Lodge in Dover. They charged my card £50 for the reservation, which I never got back."

"We spent our very last night in the UK at Heathwood BnB, and it was the perfect way to end our three weeks of non-stop travelling. Being greeted by Margaret truly felt like coming home... she was warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in hearing about our trip. We even had the pleasure of meeting her family next door, who were just as lovely. Our room was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed, with all the little extras that make a stay special. The views across the township were exceptional. The handy desk area adjacent to the bedroom was perfect for making coffee, doing hair and makeup, or using devices, and the comfortable chairs made it easy to relax and watch TV. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The only thing we would have changed was the lack of a door into the bathroom/shower area for privacy, but it was easily resolved by drawing the bedroom curtains. What really stood out was Margaret’s kindness and hospitality. We were too tired to go out for dinner, and she graciously prepared us some homemade sandwiches... a thoughtful gesture that went above and beyond. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast before heading off to the airport. A truly welcoming BnB with a host who makes you feel cared for — highly recommended!"

"Vi bokade för ett lokalt bröllop för många månader sedan, men boendet var på ett annat Premier Inn När vi checkade in var vi under intrycket att det rum som betalades för hade överförts.Vi fick veta att ett bidrag hade gjorts, men vi kunde inte hitta bevisen. Men Eloise var glad över hur hon hanterade det och vi betalade igen.Sen upptäckte vi att vi inte hade gått tillräckligt långt tillbaka i tid.Så en ursäkt är för Eloise och tack för att du var så trevlig."

"We stayed in two rooms here for a night before joining our cruise and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. It is close to the white cliffs of Dover and Dover castle and only a mile from the port. St Martins is very well located. John, the concierge was amazing and always wanted to please. As other reviews noted, he is very knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were very clean. As others have stated St. Martins is a guest house. Rooms are small and basic and there isn't any air conditioning. If those things are important to you you are better off booking a large hotel. We felt the positives of this charming place far outweighed any of that other stuff and inexpensive at about 100 pounds a night. "

"This is an amazing b and b. Greeted by Phil and Margaret and left our luggage while we explored the Dover Castle and White Cliffs. Took a taxi from the rail station since the property is straight uphill. The apartment unit is absolutely fantastic! Cute small kitchen and separate shower from the toilet and sink. The bedroom has a sitting area for watching the TV on a couch. Margaret has you fill out a breakfast order form the night before, with a choice of English breakfast or continental breakfast. The food is superb. Never saw such huge croissants. On our departure day due to lots of traffic in town, she took us in her own car to the rail station since. We never met such wonderful hosts of any B & B. If we find ourselves back in Dover, would definitely stay here again . Thank you both again for a wonderful stay. Would give it a 10 stars."

"We stayed here for one night prior to a cruise. We were greeted by the inn keeper and promptly taken to our room. We had the Georgian King Suite. There are steep stairs at the entrance, the only way in. Once inside there are more steep stairs to our room. We were helped with our luggage. Our room was very nice, clean with en suite. The inn keeper made sure we had the proper power adapters. We had some but they were not correct. The room was quiet. The next day the inn keeper arranged a taxi for us. She was able to get the taxi driver to get our luggage from our room. A light breakfast was available in the morning. Coffee and tea available in room. Nice place to stay, just be prepared for the steps."
